Before, Eric did not have access to the stripe account, but could see the charge backs because of an "old email of Lewis'". Now Velox Media has established relationships with all payment providers and is going to go after charge backs as fraud with homeland security. This is fucking hilarious.

Please be advised that our Incident Response Team has identified a significant increase in network activity today, which is impacting certain services. We are actively coordinating with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, other relevant federal agencies, and our telecommunications partners to remediate these issues and to assist in any criminal investigations or prosecutions as required by law.

Furthermore Velox Media inc maintains established relationships with Stripe, PayPal, and all major payment processors. We are working closely with these vendors to fulfill their requests related to chargeback disputes. Applicable laws and regulations governing fraud and abuse in connection with chargebacks are clear, and Velox Media inc will comply fully with all lawful requests in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Please be assured that all legal obligations are being met. Should you have any concerns, they may be directed to the appropriate regulatory or authoritative bodies and handled in accordance with the agreed contractual terms.

    Respectfully,
    Andrew
    Legal Department
    Velox Media inc

So you went from threatening people to terminate the service if they try to chargeback, to threatening them with government action and stronger retaliation?

Sure try it with personal data that's not legally yours, watch how quickly you get screwed by fines.

So what option would you select for PayPal dispute reason? And what details would you add for the ticket?

"I received an item that wasn't as described", sole trader went out of business before the term end, data was transferred to another legal entity without notice and consent and contract was not honored as the VM is now managed by US entity rather than UK entity.

[Several rebuttals to this, including the GDPR part]

Sorry guys, have to backtrack my opinion again.

I decided to look into the GDPR data issue a little more more. I'd been working on the assumption that @VeloxMedia had just mishandled transferring GDPR data outside of the UK but that everything was previously being correctly handled before.

Searching the ICO register for Lewis Edwards, Velox Media and the postcode AB10 6NN turns up no registration data. So, there has never been any compliance with the UK's GDPR regulations.

Make of that what you will...

Yea, make this make sense. The first website under Eric btw. 99.99% Network uptime guarantee.

Also why would Hurricane Electric care about a call from a customer of their customer?

  • @network said: Also why would Hurricane Electric care about a call from a customer of their customer?

They wouldn't of course, this is just LewTomEricAndy being snotty.

Can you or can you not let everyone know if this IP is different than the last few posts?

I genuinely want to know if this is real or not (I already know the answer).

Ah, someone from the legal department of a company that doesn't seem to exist in the state register. And all the corporate buzzwords, but can't seem to get 'Inc.' part right :)
