Well, the persistent 503 response tells me everything I need to know at this point. It appears this provider has taken payment and disappeared.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to look into it and help analyze what was going on — I genuinely appreciate the feedback and detective work.
At this point, it’s back to the drawing board. I’ll be putting up a request thread on LET later this week to see if another provider is willing to help me figure out something affordable on an annual/prepaid basis, as I’m currently in a financially unstable transition period and was trying to secure some longer-term stability with this setup.
I’m obviously disappointed with how this turned out. Unfortunately, I paid using a prepaid gift card, so there’s no realistic way to dispute it — that part is on me, and lesson learned.
If any providers feel like reaching out via DM, I’m open to having a conversation.

We need to teach that guy a lesson. Any lawyer in UK? I am willing to contribute too for opening up a court case against that scammer. Maybe with a few small donations and a few dozen complaints from different customers we can discourage him in the future. One can't just steal money for 3 years service and just run away unpunished by law - this is not the wild west we live in.
