    though if you're planning on using ubuntu, maybe it's in their repos. Though I say wait for the distro/install you're actually going to use before setting stuff up

    not asking for help, just complaining. after trying this and that, i think it compiled, but truly i have no idea what to do next and to even check if it's present..

    install via apt does everything what i need, makes service, puts config file, etc. manual is not for me. i'll wait for ubuntu to be offered, provider said in the offer other OS-es should be available soon

    So, I finished cleaning the over (had to spray cleaner yesterday and let it sit overnight) and I decided I would order pizza for dinner. Probably won't really be active on here again tonight. Of course, I will refresh/reply/post every now and then but I mean not active enough to get us to 600

    i'm quite unhappy with them. i asked that tomharper or whatever his nickname what happened and why i got zero vps after 2 charges. he said they'd refund. and a few hours later same $80/yr VPS was being sold again. when i saw it, all i could think about is why wouldn't they offer me one, since i got screwed. after that all i wanted was a refund. i like when provider cares. like NerdRack. Or Dedirock. I asked the latter to double BW on VPS i bought in summer, they did, although it didn't work, i had to file a ticket and there after 3 attempts finally both VPS had doubled BW. after that LET rep contacted me asking if it happened or not, then apologized after i mentioned 3 attempts, then wished me good times and whatever.. velox wannabees should wanna be like those guys.

    He does intermittent fasting. So, when he does eat, he has a pretty good meal.

    you know what annoyed me the most? that tom didn't even offer to figure why that happened. said refund right away. when i filed a ticket for refund, turned out i actually purchase both VPS on time - the expensive one and that 4GBP one in Utah, but payment provider and their system didn't communicate well, so they charged but never provisioned. they offered to provision them, but at that point i wanted nothing else to do with them. i am a vengeful mofo.. they wronged me and i didn't want to continue doing business anymore. i will also not be renewing that VPS i have with them already..

    Yah, I used to get hit with those like crazy during my first NY thread while I was competing against the great FrankZ. Since then, I have been careful. But, this time around when I got hit, it was during the heat of a giveaway or intense hyping activity, which is why I couldn't actually check the details carefully.

    Yeah, I think I'm going to only do like 3 replies so if I miscount, I'm still safe and wait to see the minute change on the clock.

    Don't worry too much. Unless you are doing like 1-15 word replies, I have found that it balances out very well and doesn't let you do more than 5 in a minute. Or, maybe it's my slower pace, prolly.

    I like longer posts personally... Takes more brainpower though and gotta save some what's left :)
