    very rarely i find a word i don't know. such was "GOBBY" but after looking it up i know why - it's British slang. i am not super familiar.. know some cockney, some guvnor stuff, but more of international..

    Luv Brit slang meself madferit.

    quite often sounds outright hilarious to me thou.. but i like watching me some British show or movie.. sometimes with subtitles tho..

    it's funny how songs always sound same, have you noticed? no matter a Brit signs or a Yankee - same sounding, i am talking you know, classics, ballads and stuff. i am sure rap may sound different.

    "gob" is one of our many slang words for your mouth, usually "shut yer gob!" = "why good fellow, please would you mind being a little quieter with your conversation?"

    Others favourites include "cake-hole" and "trap".

    probably from "gobble up"? the other 2 i knows, of course. here they sometimes say "maw" and "yapper"..

    Yah probably decades ago, there was this money order system at the postal office. Nowadays, the use of cash in itself has reduced with UPI
