Enable SpamExperts on your domain, and then check the outgoing email log. It should tell you what the issue is.
We only use WAMP for Windows 10 in the cloud because it's easier to manage the servers with RDP.
No. POP sucks ass and I don't know wtf you could mean with backup and restore being simple and no problem. IMAP is even easier. Your desktop, laptop or phone dies? No problem, just sign back in. You have copies on at least two places. POP has lost many of emails, that really doesn't happen with IMAP unless one tries.
There's very few reasons to stick with POP3 in the last two decades. I can only think of automatic/machine processing reasons, not practical user ones.
If you only use one email client on one system, and you want faster search, it "can" be the better choice. But you'd definitely want to back it up locally and you are right it is indeed very situational.
CraneMail utilizes their own proprietary control panel.
MXRoute employs DirectAdmin.
I currently use CraneMail for my company and have encountered no issues thus far.
Some of my other projects use MXRoute to send account registration verification emails. MXRoute was established earlier, so some configurations and documentation can be confusing. However, if you can correctly interpret the documentation and set things up properly, it functions without problems.
Personally, I prefer CraneMail because I've used BuyVM's VPS since 2015, then moved to Namecrane's shared hosting, and finally to CraneMail.
My choice of MXRoute was actually coincidental—it was the only provider available when I needed the service. Just days after my purchase, Namecrane began offering CraneMail.
Agreed. Check back with me in January 💜
Download and Setup MailCow get your self a AWS SES and here you have your your own server that you can resell too . I've been using that setup for many years.
The cost is different, we are talking about $10/3years
i have both, but cranemail did it better, when i had to send an especific email.
cpanel is limited in some stuff (mx route)
600 emails per month is low if i have 50 users for example that's 12 emails per day lol?
600 emails are sent per hour:

oh then it's fine lol thanks
is it really life time ? CraneMail Lifetime 500G Starting from $150.00 USD - ?
Apparently, this is correct. You don't know.
Edit - for the explanation of how I roll - LOL

Yep you got it.
Francisco
mxroute and cpanel?
I don't need to read that, you need to argue how closing the mail app and manually copying emails to offsite and often to keep it up to date is better than having to do nothing but sign in again, work not avoided with POP.
The price of the service offered by these two providers does not even cover the maintenance costs of self-hosting.
The only justification for such an approach is to retain technical expertise in the field.
I don't need nor want to argue. You do you. LOL.
mx route uses cpanel,
cranemail uses own system.
Crane.
MXRoute uses DirectAdmin.
I have been a happy MXR customer for a few years now. I hosted and still host business email without issues. My few tickets are replied pretty fast. I am happy. The only thing I'm unhappy about is the price for transferring service to someone else.
They started with Cpanel. I have one lifetime with Cpanel (from 2018), and one with Directadmin (from 2021).
The switch was around 2019 when Cpanel did their per-account charging switch resulting in effectiver milion percent price increase.
AFAIK Mxroute is moving towards Directadming (and their own panel as a final goal), but not all the accounts have been moved yet.
In the mean time, I got a Black Friday Cranemail account intended as a backup and started giving it a test - that's a separate, custom control panel.

guess you are using mxroute.pr0n or whatever. but native mxroute does not use cpanel.
As far as end users need to know, we now use our own control panel. They no longer need to know what's behind it, we're not nearly as constrained by a licensed panel these days and have features that extend beyond it. Documentation update pending.
Not interested in the primary conversation here, just weighing in on that.
MXroute uses DirectAdmin
Namecrane uses Smartermail https://www.smartertools.com/smartermail/business-email-server
Both are fine and have done a lot of custom behind the scenes tooling for their use.
I like MXroute for its web speed and for how reliably it receives email from my location. Its outgoing mail delivery is also fast, which is another big plus.
Meanwhile, I use Crane Mail for some of my service apps that require an Exchange server. The control panel is more flexible and easier to configure for email. I also like that Crane Mail allows me to restrict certain users so they can only send to internal addresses. However, incoming email on Crane Mail sometimes experiences delays, and the web interface can occasionally feel slow or heavy.
maybe because i am from asia and the server is in the us which is very far away, unfortunately i bought too fast and can't move to europe server
For some reason push is not supported? Because every time i need to manually sync mailboxes to get new mails on iphone.
both are best
