My Smokeping instance looks like a rainbow again: http://91.218.20.53/smokeping/?target=DNS.GoogleDNS1
Any chance they get answered too?
You wish is granted people!!
I hate this.
Is this Amsterdam or Sweden?
What wish? Any provider can discontinue any products they own. You thought their ongoing network issues caused their storage VPS product line to be ended?
@barbaros
Every possibility is possible brader.
Amsterdam
They're very quick to respond to everything except for anything related to packet loss. Well apart from stating it must be an issue on your ISPs side, completely ignoring all smokepings I sent them.
Considering there are multiple of us experiencing this issue, I'm going to say it's not an ISP issue. Hope he doesn't mind if I tag him in here after @FAT32 did it recently too. @heartbeat_IT
100% it's not an ISP issue, but that's what I keep getting back. It can't be that all our ISPs are shit. Moreover, again, please_have_a_look_at_my_smokeping.
Well, now I feel bad for spending that 7 euro on my renewal for Amsterdam location.
Got that too, had to move all my files over to another VPS...
You still have few months for that - I assume we all bought it at the same time and we have like few months left.
However I don't understand this decision (I mean I get it, it's too cheap atm
), but after the migration (and migration out of NAT for me, you guys also get IPv4 addresses?) things are stable and working muuuuuuuuuuch better than last year when it was randomly rebooting.
You guys reminded me.
The ticket response is extremely slow. I have submitted the ticket for over 20 hours and received no reply.
I just answered your ticket:
Since moving to Amsterdam and replacing the switch, our IPv6-only service has been stable.
Those complainers are using outdated IPv4 that caused all the trouble.
that is a joke IPv6 solved the problem? lol!
I have 10+ VPS in NL location with IPv4 only, and have 0 issues.
useless IPv6
issue with Heartbeat is related to kernel/network misconfig in proxmox related to ARP issues / MAC spoofing causing packet loss and random resets! I had same issue and solved it with 3 different providers with Dedicated Servers
Could be proxmox.
We use heartbeat-it as our upstream for both NL and SE and have had zero issues that were related to anything on our their side. Have been very happy with the service and network. 🤷
up & down a little?
Yesterday it was IPv4 and IPv6 down day.
Today it is IPv6 down day.
Progress.
Tomorrow gonna be nothing down day.
Ticket please…
I have opened a new ticket (#932845) because my reply to ticket #960118 on November 28th has been ignored. For full transparency, here is the complete content of that ticket:
Welp, reversed progress, IPv4 is also going up and down today
Must be your ISP, only logical explanation.
Could we get those answered as well, thanks.
Sure thing. I just answered your ticket:
