thanks, @655 it was fun trying to score it..
there was only 2 of us at that time, and a bunch of messages from @dustinc who could have won as well. but we made sure none of that happened..
and 42 is 6x7 ..
SIX SEVEN
you guys heard about 67? it was even on SOuth Park ... i have no idea WTF is that..

the guy who's ruined shit load of lives.. but you all know it already
Hi @sh97 -- you’re very welcome! And thank you for your contributions around here. The nws.sh script is still something I point clients toward on a regular basis, clean, simple, and gets the job done. Solid work on that
Hi @MrEd -- absolutely, just replied to this a moment ago but in short, any order placed after clicking someone’s affiliate link, whether you're a brand new customer or someone who has been with us for years, will credit the affiliate who referred you. There’s no “new customer only” restriction with our setup.
Nice and straightforward, and it rewards actual referrals regardless of account age

i would probably get a Dublin based VPS, i need more EU locations
oh yeah? like youtube dashboard then, right? also allows download of your stuff. although twitch videos are incomparable longer.. unless you stream gameplay to youtube as well..
Sorry I have been less active today guys, adulting needs done, and that has kept me away from the keyboard!
Yep. Once my edit is done, I will share it on YouTube
that is great to know, cause i been thinking only extreme users check out those stats, and those already have accounts most likely, but since it still benefits the affiliate - it is helping.
is time!!
Would be great!
great, looks like I'll be buying another VPS I don't need.
More idlers?

Hi @carlb -- great question!
The simplest route is usually to cancel/reorder. I talked about this a bit before on a previous LET post, but in short, there are logistical reasons behind this, not because performance varies between nodes, but because hardware procurement costs fluctuate over time.
For example, a physical server we purchase today (even with the same exact specs) may cost noticeably more or less to build, compared to say 6 months or a year ago. Hardware markets shift, supply changes, vendor pricing moves around -- all of that factors into how we calculate promo pricing at that specific moment. So when we run a promo, the pricing is based on the hardware acquisition numbers from that timeframe. That’s essentially why in most cases, these promos get provisioned on their own isolated nodes. Each promo cycle has its own CAPEX model, its own hardware cost basis, and its own margins. Mixing older CAPEX cycles with newer ones becomes messy from an operational and accounting standpoint, which is another reason these promos stay on their own segment.
With that said, if upgrading your existing VPS specifically is something you really want to explore, feel free to email me directly: [email protected] -- I can take a closer look on a case-by-case basis. There are some a la carte upgrade options available too.
Otherwise, many customers just cancel/reorder for a clean slate and updated OS stack, and/or migrate with rsync using this guide: https://blog.racknerd.com/how-to-migrate-from-old-vps-to-new-vps-using-rsync-migrating-a-linux-vps/
Either route works, just let us know if we can help with anything from our side.
i wonder why nobody actually finish that slogan thing about Racknerd party? cause it's pretty good..
