dammit.. got out of bathtub thinking in part that i will cook me some egg, and forgot today would have been protein powder lunch, so now i am considering just going back in there... new bath.. my bath is not a bath really, if i submerge my upper body in there - i have to stick my legs out and put feet on the wall, very very small... and for the neck to be in hot water, that is how i have to crouch there, stupid..
that's why i go to bath house every month or so.. for the whole day. swedish sauna, turkish sauna, huge hot tub, zero celcius cold plunge, - i freaking love that place. get in there 10am, get out 6pm... making it a whole day in there.. so good. beer, food, naked men everywhere, it is heaven... there's even a common room to meet with the women if they come with you or whatnot, but they have their own amenities (same just smaller and no cold plunge for them).. i sit in turkish sauna, then plunge, then back and again, and a break for beer.. love the place!
Wait, it took hours for you? I guess I've only ever opened tickets to mount an ISO but it seemed like it only took a total of 15 minutes at most until it was mounted and the ticket could be closed.
sorry friends, i go back into that sitting tub of mine.. 10 years ago i would definitely not do it and spend all day here again. but getting old - health becomes more important than anything else, and i need that fucker to be good so that i could live as much as i already lived, so i am gonna spend another hour or two in water with bath salts that i overbought on amazon some time years ago.. i will be back though.. we will get back to it later. i know i need to beef up my numbers here too... all in good time.. plus no talking really here now anyway...
Nah, the "problem" is I have other things to do/more motivated to do other things! Which is also why there's a gap between my replies even though my Chromebook is next to me and I'm dedicating it to this thread as it's much easier to refresh and see if Dustin is around/etc.
hehe hopefully my water heater can give me another hot bath... really hope...
or i will end up eating my trail mix in lukewarm water.. LOL

I have 10 hours of raw minecraft footage. Managed to turn the first hour into a 6.5 min video.
9 hours still left to edit!
This is just removing the boring parts etc. I still have to do timelapses, add music, effects etc!

Using capcut on my laptop.
Specs:
12 GB ram
Intel core i3-8130U
Ram usage is at 90%
iGPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
My laptop is pretty slow atm as CapCut is generating a proxy file for the video.
It's not the same without Dustin. Where is that cool guy? I like his positivity.

How are you recording?
Direct recording or do you use replaymod?

I'm recording using OBS, but in the last few hours, I also started using the Flashback mod (similar to ReplayMod), so I'll use that for timelapses.
Sadly, I did not record a lot with it, so I mainly have to rely on the raw game footage for now.
I don't record directly to my laptop, instead I stream it to twitch and download the VOD after.
I'dunno capcut. It has been some time since I truly edited video, basically all I ever do now is add my front/rear dashcam videos together and maybe remove the audio (if I didn't say family friendly words). Back when I actually did hobby things and edit video, I used premiere pro but I'm not a fan on the whole subscription thing adobe fully switched to. Now I've been using Final Cut (bought a long time ago) and a little of Davinci Resolve Studio. I only bought Davinci Resolve since it's crossplatform and it's an actual license, not a subscription. Though I mainly use my Mac mini for video stuff.
Hehe, I did get lumafusion for free through a chromebook perk when I got this Chromebook (they have different perks all the time but your chromebook has to be purchased within X amount of time) but I have yet to actually use it. I hear it's pretty good though.
I'll use Capcut for now. It's pretty easy to use. And it's free!
Once I get a pc, I'll probably switch to something like Davinci Resolve. (I tried installing it, finally succeeded after a few hours of debugging. Only to realize that Davinci Resolve is not detecing my iGPU!)
