    Nah, the "problem" is I have other things to do/more motivated to do other things! Which is also why there's a gap between my replies even though my Chromebook is next to me and I'm dedicating it to this thread as it's much easier to refresh and see if Dustin is around/etc.

    i don't blame you, i myself am back though, ready to kick it up a notch or two. =)
    feeling so much better, second bath's heat worked some good household magic on my muscles.. but probably gonna return to shit in the morning. i sleep on a foldout couch, so.. not the best time to spend your night hours..

    Hi @riomastri -- we actually do have a presence in Asia today, just not on the VPS side yet. Right now, we offer Shared and Reseller hosting out of our Singapore location -- solid network, great uptime, and it’s been received really well by users in that region.

    As for KVM VPS in Asia, not at the moment. That said, many clients in that part of the world still end up choosing our Los Angeles locations because the latency is actually quite decent to a lot of Asian routes. So if you need a VPS today, LA is a strong option and performs well for that use-case.

    I'm recording using OBS, but in the last few hours, I also started using the Flashback mod (similar to ReplayMod), so I'll use that for timelapses.
    Sadly, I did not record a lot with it, so I mainly have to rely on the raw game footage for now.
    I don't record directly to my laptop, instead I stream it to twitch and download the VOD after.

    i don't think anyone records directly to their machine.. it's so much easier to download. there are even browser addons that do it. i thought back in the day of making one, but then their m3u8 playlist was CSP's in place like same origin plicy, CORS etc that prevent browser from using/downloading from a website, unless request coming from that website, so i was not able to do anything, unless using one of those tamper-monkey plugins that turn all the rules upside down.. and i gave up. it can easily be circumvented with a commandline script on a proxy, but then proxy has to do all the transfers, and i's simply unrealistic..

    Made a lot of progress already. Edited 3 out of the 10 hours now. New length is 8.5 minutes!

    The twitch creator dashboard has a download button to download my VODs, so downloading it is pretty easy :)

    Hi @bchot -- great question! If you click someone’s RackNerd affiliate link and place an order -- whether you’re a new customer or an existing one, the affiliate who referred you earns commission on that order. It’s not limited to brand-new customers only.

    So in short, if you click their link → place an order → they benefit.

    We’ve always structured the program this way because it rewards actual referrals and genuine influence, instead of trying to track “new vs existing” complications. As such, affiliates get 15% recurring on VPS services for as long as it stays active, which can add up nicely over time.

    i was just wondering, where do you try to sell domains? is it enough just to list it on Porkbun marketplace?     Using capcut on my laptop.
    Specs:
    12 GB ram
    Intel core i3-8130U
    Ram usage is at 90%
    iGPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620

    My laptop is pretty slow atm as CapCut is generating a proxy file for the video.

    I'dunno capcut. It has been some time since I truly edited video, basically all I ever do now is add my front/rear dashcam videos together and maybe remove the audio (if I didn't say family friendly words). Back when I actually did hobby things and edit video, I used premiere pro but I'm not a fan on the whole subscription thing adobe fully switched to. Now I've been using Final Cut (bought a long time ago) and a little of Davinci Resolve Studio. I only bought Davinci Resolve since it's crossplatform and it's an actual license, not a subscription. Though I mainly use my Mac mini for video stuff.

    Hehe, I did get lumafusion for free through a chromebook perk when I got this Chromebook (they have different perks all the time but your chromebook has to be purchased within X amount of time) but I have yet to actually use it. I hear it's pretty good though.

    I'll use Capcut for now. It's pretty easy to use. And it's free!
    Once I get a pc, I'll probably switch to something like Davinci Resolve. (I tried installing it, finally succeeded after a few hours of debugging. Only to realize that Davinci Resolve is not detecing my iGPU!)

    I mean, if it works it works! Way back in the day, all I had was imovie on the school's bubble imac :lol: There was also some windows program but I forget that name, imovie was way better.
