    i use bunny

How is it comapred to CF?

faster, but lacks some features i dont really use anyways

Oh alright. On average, how much are you paying per month?

1$ i think, i just use it for dns, i dont have many internet facing websites.... the traffic is low, low enought not to care

That's affordable. I thought their cheapest plan was $10-20.

For my grandfathered account it's pay as you as you go

How much do you pay per month, on an average?

It's not fixed sometimes 3, sometimes 1 sometimes 0.1 it's all in the mix

That's actually extremely affordable given it has better uptime than CF, today's events included.

The only concern worth noticing is WAF.

Frankly, I don't know WAF does. I am sorry, I am still a learner.

WAF protects your web from malicious threat actors and you know what BOTs.

Oh, thanks for the simple explanation. I see. I really need to check my CF logs to see if I have been getting any DDOS attacks.

Not only DDoS many kind of threat activity like sqli, xss and what not WAF helps in many conditions.

WAF stands for Web Application Firewall. It can include many things, like protecting your site from known attacks, sql injections, etc.

BTW, how many of you guys are aiming for the gaming PC?

If it could be sent to EU, then maybe it would be great, but anything in the prize pool would work, because anyways it will be converted to RN credits :) If it was a laptop, maybe I would agree to pay the taxes to get it shipped, but for desktop I don't have enough space. :)

What would be excie duty if you don't mind sharing.

Shippings costs would probably be pretty expensive.
I'll probably just convert it to credits then.

Yah, depending on your country, importing a gaming PC would be a nightmare. Pretty sure every year, me, TrK and xpress7 discuss or rather vent out our grievances with the Indian customs dept.

Well, since I anyways need a laptop, "buying" it for the price of taxes would be beneficial. :)

If that were the case, it would actually make sense. But, we, in India at times have to pay 150-200% of the item's price and the funny thing is the price is arbitrarily determined by Customs. The bill doesn't matter.

UFW protects you from packets, network in general, or Layer 3. WAF works on Layer 7 and has more logic on the request itself.

    Import duty and taxes

For laptop there is 0% import tax, so basically only 21% VAT + broker tax (depends on shipping company - 30-50Eur). So buying laptop for 1/5th of the price is a good deal :)

was there a flash sale or something announced? cause then I can see why this whole outage happened.. my network heavily relies on CF, and during downtime couldn't even login to their dash to change DNS at least to avoid their network..

Yah, that's the issue. That's just a free pass for them to deny warranty if a single alphabet or number is replaced in the model number due to regional variations, while the specs and everything else remains the same.
