Yeah we plan to add that, just need to improve the reliability of the uptime tracking to avoid spamming people
You can follow this task https://github.com/jsdelivr/globalping-dash/issues/27
On some servers I sometimes get this - Connection to API failed: Error: vpn detected
What do you use to detect vpn? I install globalping on a fresh VPS without any vpn apps installed, so a bit puzzled by this error.
Its ip2location.io Its not perfect, but we needed something to stop users from connecting probes via VPNs as it breaks the data.
I can whitelist your IP for now, but its hardcoded in the code publicly. Until we have a better solution at least. I'll open an issue to review this
You can now copy the results in markdown for better forum usability. Just scroll down to the end to copy.
Globalping:
PINGfrom WorldTarget: cdn.jsdelivr.net
Falkenstein, DE, EU - Hetzner Online GmbH (AS24940)
Time:
6 msLoss:0%You can also view the results at https://globalping.io?measurement=uaGHR4mcIVcXV7eG
Just a small idea,
for eg in this page: https://globalping.io/?measurement=TQtWlCZMIQhQxJlb&display=table
would it be able to sort in ascending/descending order based on the latency?
We will add it soon. You can follow the issue https://github.com/jsdelivr/www.jsdelivr.com/issues/810
Could you add the ability to anonymize GitHub username? I'd like to add probes to my account, but I also don't want anyone to associate multiple probes with each other and with a user.
You sure this was supposed to be in jsdeliver repo, not a globalping?
You could create a GitHub org with a random name and change your account to use the org name for probes in the dashboard settings.
Yep, it's the same codebase
It was faster and easier to do it this way
But still it will be possible to check if probe A and probe B are from the same user.
Anonymizing certain probes is probably a niche problem. I guess the easiest solution would be to just not register them or register under a different user.
Rejoice, we have added real-time logs to the dashboard for all adopted probes for easier debugging and monitoring
Additional fixes changelog https://github.com/jsdelivr/globalping-probe/releases/tag/v0.40.0
Also since the project is no longer in alpha should I create a new thread for Globalping updates? Like if you agree and the next update will be in a new thread dedicated to Globalping and properly titled as a production project
the mcp looks weird, why it can't just use Authorization header to set token, npx makes me hard to setup mcp on remote server(i am using mcphub, which is a docker contain all mcp)
When we started the development most clients either didn't support custom headers or had serious issues and limitations. That's why we started with oAuth and since then we had no requests for tokens support.
Could you open a GitHub issue describing your setup? We can use it as basis for testing
Let's go, congrats on the milestone @jimaek
"Lviv, UA, EU, FOP Hornostay Mykhaylo Ivanovych (AS212913), u-zGato" is actually russia moscow
i want to find a provider with lowest latency, it's very hard to do with a limit of 500 probes, and it becomes harder because there are multiple results from the same providers
In what region? You could try to limit the location to fit in the limit
Any updates on that standalone binary docker thing that I can throw on my idlers?
Download the binary here https://github.com/jsdelivr/globalping-probe/releases/tag/v0.41.0
But let me know please if something breaks
Globalping for VS Code is live https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Globalping.globalping
A full Globalping UI in the sidebar of your IDE. And you can right click any hostname or URL to quickly run a test on it.
First release so not super polished yet. Feel free to provide feedback.
Just revamped https://globalpi.ng/ thanks to companies new cursor access. New UI, and now you can click on the user to see their specific probes.
Once again shout out to @Decicus for the awesome domain.
It is beautiful, fire 🔥🔥
@jimaek I think my probe display view might be busted.
Logged out, logged in, cleared cookies etc.
Any errors in the dev console? Or extensions blocking something? Also which browser
Nothing, dev console is blank, no extensions either. Tried from Safari and Chrome.
Checked API calls on network tab, everything looks fine there too (but I dont see an API call listing the probes I have)
I'll message you to debug this
And with the year coming to an end we wrote about what we achieved in 2025 with our goals for 2026 https://blog.globalping.io/review-2025-outlook-2026/
A big thank you to everyone here who continues to support Globalping either by hosting probes or by simply actively using it!
Wow, that's a lot!
