  • @DediRock - please have a look at IPv6 implementation for Invoice #12231 because the IPv6 is assigned, server sees it and assigns it, but it won't work. Basically nothing works over IPv6, not even ping to Google or Cloudflare ("Address unreachable").

The IPv6 for server I have in NY works, but the LA one does not. Thank you for your understanding and sorry for bothering.

  • hello @DediRock

    got message:

    Hello Everyone,

The upgrade is now complete and all servers are back online, with the exception of two LA server where downtime will run a little longer (probably done by tonight). The affected servers are:

    107.174.1xx.xxx

    104.168.xxx.xxx

    107.174.219.xxx

If your server’s IP falls within these blocks, our engineer is actively working on it tonight and everything should be live shortly.

We appreciate your patience as we finish this important upgrade. Sorry that did not go has smoothed as planned, but we persisted through :)

Thanks for standing with us. The Rock Provides™ 🤘

    — The DediRock Team

but my VPS with ip address is: 107.172.xxx.xxx still down.

is my VPS your concern too? bit afraid you miss it :(

Yeah same here. IPv6 is all good on the NY VPS's but not in LA.

P.S. Unless I missed it, Virtualizor really needs to add the network information to their embedded panel to display gateway's and netmasks for each IP.

Hey @kip okay cool thank you very much, so my guys did check it out and apparently AlmaLinux does not support V2? So I do apologize for the mix up there.

    Have a test ipv6?

Virtualizor doesn't make it easy to find. You can find a list of IP's attached to your VPS in the embedded Virtualizor panel by:

    1. Click the dropdown arrow towards the right next to "Firewall"
    2. Click "Reverse DNS" in the popup menu
    3. In that reverse DNS panel on the left side click "rDNS Records"

That should show you the IPv6 address. If it's not listed there than it's probably not assigned to your VPS. Maybe try logging out, closing browser, etc... to see if it refreshes.

If you find the IPv6 address there it still will not show the gateway or netmask but the gateway is usually the ::1 address of the /64 block.

No because you don't get a subnet, you just get a single IPv6 address, like a /128.

  • @DediRock May I purchase $21/year triple-stacking NY? I need to replace my E5v2 discourse server (not a public service)

    90 GB SSD Storage
    6 GB RAM
    3 vCPU Core
    6 TB Bandwidth
    10 Gbp/s connection
    1 IPv4 Address

Can I trade 2 IPv4 for E5v4 instead of E5v2? Or any Xeon Gold? Or any Zen_4 or Zen_5 AMD? Or just more cores and ram of E5v2? Or 10Gbps port? Look at me being LET pushy. I'm getting better.

    Buying is becoming habit forming.
