Same here, 23.95.xx.xx. and 107.172.xx.xx stopped working many hours
Provisioned a few minutes ago, but can't SSH. 107.172.xxx.xxx
honestly true.
my FREE VPS (oracle oci) hands out /64
meanwhile my paid dedirock only gives /128
its not even about needing multiple ipv6s, many people don't. its about best practices.
i try to give them benefit of the doubt because it's only $7 and i don't want to complain much. but it does seem ridiculous when a free service provides more lol
This is a recurring theme, may people opening tickets, reading the threads some have their machines down for up to 32 hours.
For the past week there were many times i couldn't get into my LA machine. NY is doing alright though. Its up to luck where your VPS ends up.
@DediRock if it means anything I wholeheartedly think @sh97 should get the deal
Invoice #13661
Please double bandwith.
Do NOT need IPv6.
You're asking nicely. Growing soft?
I second it though, let's hook this gentleman up!
While you're at it, my boy @emgh is a notorious collector of $3/y servers ... Just leaving it out there.
No I just like @sh97 so want him the best of chances🥰
And tbh I won’t beg @DediRock for any deals, he has already provided me with what I have to assume is a loss leader
Speaking of $3/yr loss leaders though my DM is always open @DigitalFyre @philipjensen
Post order number for tripple
LET sent me TWO notifications of this comment
First time ever I’ve seen that
Celebrate with a loss leader deal?
Count me in.
I’m not even kidding I got two notifications of that mention
I got none so maybe 'they' stole mine.
who let the deals out? (who? who?)
Won't be a $7.00/yr deal, but I'm now thinking about a Lucky 7 $7.00/mo deal 👀 Maybe that will be the next offer post 😏

DediRock Got Jokes™
Yes, now I see it, thanks!! 💯
Hey @locojars hey man, I understand the downtime was not good, def understand. I can only say well persist through (its been quite the party) and make it right. Here to help.
Lol sure I would help out DediRock anytime!
woot thx @r1nx
Hey @NetPIMP yes it was a kick in the pants, sorry about that. No definitely not giving up, just read your ticket, yeah we could spin you up a new one, on a separate node still in New York, want that?
Hey @tandoor totally tracking man, still plugging away it, have a ticket open with Virt. Handled one issue then another one popped up with the node, well persist and make it right. Thank for your patience.
it's definitely been a party sorting it out....... well work on making the experience better.
Awesome, glad to hear it
thx!

Ticket #FVP-861730
Network is down (IPv4 / IPv6), and resue mode wrong,(Rescue operation is not allowed when an ISO is in use. Please remove the ISO first
)
@DediRock
I have been using Dedirock’s VPS service for almost a year, and it has been excellent—no issues at all, and the uptime has been perfect. I truly appreciate that. However, this recent “IPv6 upgrade” has changed everything.
Honestly, I’m confused when the VPS downtime is said to be unrelated to the “IPv6 upgrade,” because before this incident, I had been using the VPS without any problems, and it was running on the same Virtualizor.
So, next time—this is not meant to tell Dedirock how to run its business, but rather a suggestion—please consider creating separate clusters for clients:
Existing clients – those who have had stable service without issues should not be forced to change any configurations. They should remain safe and comfortable with the reliable service they’ve always had.
New clients – you may experiment here by introducing new features such as IPv6.
This way, situations like this won’t happen again: existing clients will continue to enjoy stability, while new clients can experience the new features. If there are problems with Cluster 2, only the new clients would be affected, not the old ones.
Finally, how much longer do I have to wait for my VPS to come back online? It’s already been down for several days.
