no quarantines,I already whitelised sender domain, but sometimes it still delayed(3-5mins,and happened a few times in a month, but no delay in June so far)
New domain?
Ok.
Thats something I have a potential fix for I just haven’t applied it to all domains
I’ll see if I can kick it off this weekend.

I guess I won't use their software, but using the imap mail service instead, I have another mail software to use, so just wondering how it is for email delivery.
I did move from us to eu.
Ticket CRANE-12414, support told me the solution is to whitelist all email sender address and I replied this is not possible as I can’t possibly add every address I’ve ever received or will receive to my whitelist, as the system is rejecting a lot of new senders.
Then my ticket got closed.
I've been using CraneMail for 3-4 months now. Nothing to complain about email, everything just works.
I bought the service for webdisk though, rclone was eeh for a few months but @Francisco and cats worked their asses off (while I was being Karen about it, sorry) and made it top notch. Rclone still have its issues but ftps is working rock solid.
Update: problem solved, caused by a destination server apparently been set wrong.
Support is good but can be improved, with the fact that they closed the ticket without responding.
I think when getting support the respond should to be formal, for example this is some of the response in ticket
Maybe so it's more professional and it's kind of hard to read when people don't have English as their first language...
Overall GREAT support, identified and fixed my problem fast.
CraneMail for me now is working well and without any delay, and price wise this is totally worth it.
I am considering of moving all my web hosting and mail hosting to namecrane in the future.

Nice web interface for email. However, the mail folder sharing feature does not seem to get properly implemented under IMAP.
I did try to share a mail folder to a user. The user could see the shared folder via web interface but not via IMAP client. Seems like the IMAP server does not have 'ACL' working. I hope I am wrong here. Please advice on how to view shared mail folder via IMAP:
Why dont you use exchange mode…? Why suffer with imap?

@Francisco good question! Please suggest a few email clients which supports folder sharing feature which runs on Android and/or Apple iPhones. Thank you in advance. (I have tried a few which supports EWS but could not get them to show shared folders.
The default Gmail app in my Android phone supports it. Just enter username and password and go! No need to configure incoming, outgoing etc. Only thing to note is the number of days to sync. If no mails in recent times, it will be blank. To show older mails, you have to set the period of sync accordingly.
I use both MxRoute and Namecrane for email. I also transferred one of my client to Namecrane DA hosting. So far I had no major issues. The only issue I had with namecrane was, paying using paypal which had different email than my Namecrane account email. Btw I have different emails for paypal, hosting, business and personal. Twice I made payment and Namecrane support changed my account email to paypal email, both time. I contacted support but they did not want change it back. I contacted Francisco, later it was resolved. Just minor inconveniences which is no big deal. I never had this issue with any other provider so far. I know this is for fraud protection, but maybe having a whitelist is a good idea.
I have just tried Gmail app on my phone and yes, it seems to support EWS. However, I cannot see any remote shared folders. If you can see the remote shared folder in Gmail app do let me know instructions on how to subscribe to remote shared folder which has been shared by another user via the cranemail webmail interface.
To clarify the requirement, I am looking for a mobile phone app which can access shared email via cranemail server. Thank you in advance.
is cranemail compliant to eu data laws (on the eu servers ofc)?
do they have a lifetime plan with unlimited domains?
iirc mxroute has this feature with unlimited domains
We don’t do unlimited domains at this time.
As for EU, what would you like to know?
Francisco
Jesus, yes. Please.
SmarterMail or whatever is pretty but RoundCube is easy and familiar.
Don't know how I missed this one! Yes, RoundCube please!!
And please enable enigma plugin! Just be careful with permissions on key stores.
Yes, enigma.
When I was still working on MyPrivateInbox, I was experimenting with some different keystore setups.
If you have any best practises would be cool to hear/read.
Don't allow unprotected keys for one
That's the enigma default, so you'd have to intentionally allow unencrypted keys.
Past that, make sure the keys aren't web readable (or store them in SQL I guess).
I'm actively talking to the guys at the moment. The thought right now would be that workspace.org would get roundcube in the drop down, and it'd point to roundcube-.workspace.org, with a roundcube instance running in each cranemail POP.
I'm not sure if we should allow direct access to https://roundcube-[region].workspace.org. If I only allow workspace.org, then it'd mean the 2FA set inside of Smartermail would be honored. If I allow direct access, then someone would have to use their IMAP APP password.
Having an install per region should also calm some of the EU concerns.
Actually, I think that answers it. I think disabling direct login is best. It means people won't be able to brand the roundcube URL, but, it'd be whitelabeled at least.
Francisco
For those playing from home:
https://roundcube-us.workspace.org/
Very 'beta' still. It only points to us1, but you can login, read your emails, setup PGP if that's your thing (please do and let me know!). You would use your IMAP password for now if you're using 2FA.
I'll likely order the roundcube plus addons like multibox, skins, and calendar.
I have most of the SSO plugin done. Once I roll it out you can login to https://workspace.org, pick roundcube from the dropdown, and go. This means it'll work with Smartermail's 2FA, meaning we don't need to enable the 2FA plugin in RC+.
I'm still deciding if I want to leave the Login page visible or force a redirect to workspace.org. I kinda like the idea of not allowing direct logins, but I know someones going to complain that they want to put their own whitelabel domain over top.
Francisco
I welcome any improvements with full documentation from day one.
Fair
Mike's been working on some of that and we'll work to add more.
I've made Roundcube available on the workspace.org page for the US servers for now. I'll clone the install in the morning over to the EU.
I'll get some RC+ (multibox) and some others going too.
Francisco
Will document it when we launch. Just put things on pause for a bit, but won't hijack this thread for that.
I guess this is only for the US instances? Tried to login my EU account and it just says the site doesn't exist.
US only today, EU will have it by tomorrow along with some extra features maybe.
Unable to delete email.
Nice catch! Fixed.
Francisco
Will work on EU once we iron the last few things
an opensource multibox has been installed, give it a try
