    Why? They have servers in Coventry, which is about 140 km away from London.

    I've got a 8C32G in HK location from the top provider sale this year. It's powerful enough for me and I always come back to this one since I bought some cheaper ones thinking to replace it :wink:

    Meantime in case anyone is wondering, there's an ongoing migration now with GreenCloud @ Scheduled Migration of Hong Kong DC2 so yeah my VPS is current down lol

    @NDTN any update on Reverse DNS for IPv6?

    I was just going to post asking on this!!! Any word? I really need both ipv6 and rdns on it!

    rDNS for IPv4 across all locations and rDNS for IPv6 in the Netherlands on VirtFusion can now be configured by the end user. rDNS for IPv6 in other locations, with at least an allocation of /64 per VM, will be available soon.

    Any updates on this?

    I can still neither configure IPv4 rDNS nor IPv6 rDNS via the panel in DE and UK.

    Looks like they can do it via a support ticket now (just got one done for UK).

    Which IP ranges are you on now? Some IP ranges that less than /24 will need a manual setup by us.

    UK: 96.9.214.0/23 and 2a0c:b840:2::/48
    DE: 109.94.171.0/24 and 2a03:d9c2:100::/48

    Our techs confirmed that rDNS for these ranges can be configured by customers on Virtfusion already. Please check and follow this document: https://green.cloud/docs/greencloud-documents/faqs/how-to-set-reverse-dns-rdns-on-virtfusion/

    Right, but only via ticket on SolusVM?

    Is the plan to also allow rDNS configuration via SolusVM, migrate SolusVM customers to Virtfusion, or continue with the status quo?

    Yes tickets for SolusVM now. Customers can migrate to Virtfusion with a $10 one-time fee, if available.

    I'm a bit puzzled. I wanted to use private networking for my two Singapore DC1 VPS, so I requested a migration to the Virtfusion panel, but it was rejected:

    Ticket #029693
    As previously explained, the migration to the VirtFusion control panel depends on the specific nodes we provide. At the moment, we do not have any plans to migrate your VPS to the VirtFusion control panel.

    So , what exactly does "depends on the specific nodes we provide" ?

    Update:
    The Private Network feature is now available in Tokyo, Japan (Virtfusion) for both IIJ and SoftBank. This allows an IIJ VPS to communicate privately with a SoftBank VPS over the same private network.

    We are preparing to roll out this private network feature to the rest of locations where Virtfusion available, ETA within the next 1-2 months.

    Our 4th of July deals will be live within the next few hours too, stay tuned!

    I'm using GC for exotic location so BW is limited.

    I’ve been using GreenCloud in both Germany and the Netherlands for a while now. Unfortunately, I’m not too thrilled about their move to xTom.

    Yesterday, I noticed that my DE VPS was upgraded to EPYC, so I figured I’d run a quick YABS test just to check performance (I’d done a few YABS runs on this VPS in the past). After the first iperf test, my IP was immediately null-routed by xTom.

    GreenCloud support told me I had triggered “abnormal behavior.” Apparently, in Germany, running iperf at around 4 Gbit/s on a 10 Gbit/s VPS is considered abnormal by xTom, and as a result, the IP gets null-routed for 12 to 24 hours.

    Well then...

    We have not heard of any customers experiencing null-routing in Amsterdam or Frankfurt while running YABS. I was able to locate your ticket, which was initially reported as the VPS being down after a reboot? Please feel free to DM me if the issue persists while running YABS, and we can investigate further with the DC if necessary.
