2–5 servers: Useful for small-scale projects with redundancy (e.g., a web server, database server, backup server) 😄

  • 1 dedicated server
    6 VPS'S

Currently I have 11, planning to transfer one of them soon, mainly storage servers. Won’t need more anytime soon.

Around 20 including 3 dedicated servers
    It’s too much.
I’ll fix this whole mess next year, maybe.

I mainly hoard storage servers, though am nowhere near as much of a hoarder as some notable members here. I like to count the number of providers, rather than the number of servers, in the name of diversification and redundancy (don’t put all your eggs in one basket).

I’ve got 8 total servers across 5 providers, all of whom are considered premium providers on LET. For storage only, it’s 6 servers and 3 providers from that bunch.

As some have mentioned, it’s becoming increasingly more painful to manage everything (though storage servers are largely set-and-forget), so I haven’t been picking up more. But I still won’t say no to a good Deadpool deal from a quality provider, even if it ends up being an idler.

Mind sharing that top notch providers for storage?

gorillaservers and webnx. they use raid controllers and their drives are high quality. they guarantee the drives are free of bad sectors. fiberstate if you manage to get their storage server because their hardware is all new, literally, not "new drive with 50k hours on it".

for storage vps I vote layer7 especially the 50TB addon for $50 making it almost $1/TB. host_c is also good if you have the early vps deals.. the current offerings are typical market price.

@fluffernutter @zGato Can you recommend something for 1$/€ per Month Preferably a provider that has been on the market for at least 10 years. Maybe you also want to rewrite something? And a provider that accepts TOR relays.

Most providers won't do anything for that budget outside of crazy flash deals. $12/year gets you some stuff, but most of those will be crazy oversold and won't want you running relays with them. justhost is probably it honestly, unless @zGato has anything I don't know about.

Yeah man, totally deserves to stay up for a while — it's hilarious. Respect where it's due! 👏

I really enjoy seeing people with funny stuff in their signatures. Adds a lot of character and fun to the community.

Plus, we al know who is a provider, so having adds there is nonsense, having a little fun "spam" makes a lot more sense :D o:) >:) <3
