How many servers is enough for you ?

Glad to see all gentle people around here at this beautiful morning.
The question is:
How many servers are actually completely enough for you to feel comfortable with all your projects and stuff, so you would not feel that kind of feeling, that you wanna buy one more.
if we talk about me personally, i have around 10 servers in the moment, most of them are kinda small from really tiny one with 10gb drive to a bigger one with 100-200nvme and the last one for the public Pixelfed (instagram similar app) instance with 2TB HDD.
But i still feel that i would buy one more maybe? How do you feel when it's time to stop buying more new servers ?
Prefer to hear serious answers, not just joking around.
Thank you.

Don't count your idlers.
Reguards
We value location diversity.
Ideally, we want to have one server within 100ms RTT from every eyeball.
i'm spending a lot on idlers right now and need to pawn some off. I still haven't settled on a project I'm working on though for what host it operates best on so.
regrettably many here may be on the RFK JR list

1 app server
i only feel comfortable when proxy is @Francisco luxembourg horse cock vps 1gb for $3.50
im just lazy to manage more than 2 servers.. imagine you have 6 vps from 6 different providers, fucking nightmare
Three dedicated, two VDS and ~ 22 VPS
I need two, one as main unit and one as backup.
Are you able to afford food while paying for all of those?
how the fuck does one pay for this
Backups are for pussies and I do NOT like pussies

What are you talking about? I don't like the Offensive Ghost either.
Does having over 7 cabinets filled with at least 30 high-density servers in each count? Asking for uhhh, a friend.
Yes
a cabinet in every timezone
Haven't counted yet .... some could be idling peacefully for years. Who knows...
Never ask a woman her age, a man his salary, and a LET user the count of their servers.
Answer is simply all of them
I love each and every one of my 100+ idlers, cancelling them makes me sad. I just went through a round of cancellations a few days ago since some are old and no longer good deals (like $40/year for a 1vcpu 2gb ram 100gb nvme system in LA)
It's actually very simple
The amount of servers you have + 1
Are we counting only the ones with public IPs or including those at my "workshop", where I "qualify hardware" for company's "on-going projects" that definely "deploy soon(tm)"
I mainly hoard storage servers, though am nowhere near as much of a hoarder as some notable members here. I like to count the number of providers, rather than the number of servers, in the name of diversification and redundancy (don’t put all your eggs in one basket).
I’ve got 8 total servers across 5 providers, all of whom are considered premium providers on LET. For storage only, it’s 6 servers and 3 providers from that bunch.
As some have mentioned, it’s becoming increasingly more painful to manage everything (though storage servers are largely set-and-forget), so I haven’t been picking up more. But I still won’t say no to a good Deadpool deal from a quality provider, even if it ends up being an idler.
