    Reading the OP again, the OP wasn't even complaining about CH snooping on his files, but rather that he was being extorted $25 to get his data back. The snooping subtlety was picked up by the community and snowballed into CH's dismissal.

    Then CH tried to extort OP again to clear their "good name" (the second thread that the OP opened).

    What an incredible story.

    And to think this was all over a free giveaway, not even a paying customer!

    Someone should make a legendary documentary about the rise and fall of CharityHost.

    This chain of events has been...interesting, to say the least. I may do a "my POV" writeup about the rise and fall of CH, but it'll be strongly limited by what I'm able to remember and access. I'll post it on https://host.charity/ once finished.
