Well, doesn't look like scam, more like "bulletproof" hosting not intended for wide public
It is a bulletproof provider. Used for data exfiltration and cobalt strike, for ransomware operations.
Ran by Russians and Iranians, with a long history and a bunch of shell companies in Latin America.
ASN's you listed are just a tip of the iceberg.
They also sell IPHM(spoof) servers. Basic VPS starts at $100/mo, for "geo" vps, not even fully bulletproof, but enough to steal corporate data.
I won't tell you where to get it, but maybe @layer7 would
ur right the further i went the more insane it became lol
i can perhaps send the "legitimate" front, https://exservers.net/ also known as ip-transit.ir
him just like 4vps.su got tricked by @AlbaHost and sell his servers as Albania
hostkey going strong
We do not "trick" anyone, everything is explained in our ToS.
I disagree, I think your marketing is deceptive and your real locations aren't stated anywhere near the order page.
What the fuck is Location: GeoAlbania? Setting AL in whois doesn't mean anything, you just exploit people who don't know any better.
As stated in my previous reply, check and read our ToS and you will understand.
I cannot find ToS anywhere on your page sir.
Are the 1000 other VPN companies that advertise "virtual locations" (barely even telling the user and you don't even know the real location) also deceptive marketing?
@AlbaHost offers a looking glass and explains everything in their ToS, they don't hide anything. Services are sold as "GeoAlbania".
Yes.
Plot twist: the servers at Flyservers starting to fly away.
Can you please send me where it states that? On his looking glass its still "GeoAlbania" and servers in completely different countries are just different lines.
Go against them and not a small business then, they're the ones that started the trend.
4vps.su hasn't been lied by @AlbaHost. They've been spoofing locations for a while already. UAE is Madrid, Austria is Germany, ... and 4VPS in fact knows where their servers are.
https://www.albahost.net/service-and-use-agreement

This is such a straw man argument. X does something, so it means I can also do X.
you're the one that did bring albahost here in a discussion that's nowhere related to them
what is the strategy of hosting in Poland but pretending to be in Albania?
the same reason Nord and all these giant VPN companies have servers in "Bahamas", "Belize", ...
One mention on the entire page of words. Not stated anywhere else on the entire company page.
My point still stands, a little line in "Service Agreement" means nothing. If you genuinely think every customer reads it whole, you are insane. You will be lucky if 10% of his customers understood they aren't really in Albania.
deception?
bypassing geoblocks, ad-free youtube/twitch, cheaper sub prices, ...
hmm, I disagree, Albahost is legit, 4vps.su I think too
Flyservers show location in Panama, one of my friends told me it is associated with serveroffer.lt
https://vnm.windscribe.com/knowledge-base/articles/does-windscribe-use-virtual-servers-locations/
Windscribe does all that and doesn't need to lie
I don't know about you, but since I have LLM models, I literally read every single ToS via a quick summary. I use over 200 different providers with different rules.
