That's a good point. I also have a bit of an infestation of small flying bugs given that we're the only nearby source of light at night, so I should probably burn the house down. I got a flat tire the other day, perhaps I should call for a nuclear strike against all nearby car lots.
He already said that reseller is not doing what they are supposed to do, as in, reseller didn't take care of spamming / abusing customers. As a result jar took down the reseller.
This is not rocket science, either some of you playing dumb, or you are just dumb, I can't understand.
Reseller is the bad apple here (among with some of their customers) so all reseller's customers are suspended till the source of problem is removed.
@barbaros So the reseller has to break into customers accounts and check/read each sent mail for spam?
And how the heck do you define spam?
I say spam is every mail i didnt ask for, regardless of it beeing a personal or an offer/promotion/business proposal etc.
Yup. The only way to prevent network abuse and fraud orders is to log into every server and review every piece of data the customer has uploaded. That is indeed the takeaway from the entire hosting industry. There’s just no other way. But keep lotion handy in case the data gets spicy!
Certainly no sarcasm here at all…
It's most likely the first
Yes, also reseller visits your address to check if you provided correct address or not. Also reseller calls you from your registered phone number and have a chat with you to be sure your phone number is correct
Sending unsolicited email is considered spam. Also MXroute doesn't allow marketing emails being sent out.
You should be able to unsubscribe from such email, else you can send an abuse report to MXRoute.
Edit: I realized I am taking seriously the "person" posted out this: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/204204/stay-away-from-cloudflare
So you're saying that you have to present proof that you have consent to send a mail to the destination address? Wtf you want him to hold all email and ask for permission to send? What did i just read
if i am a good customer from this reseller, i am just a "good-faith third party" in this situation, why i got punishment? it is the provider and the reseller's battle, i am innocent.
i never saw any law or business regulation hurts any innocent party, and i think it should not hurt these people.
Oh I see the confusion, let me briefly explain in detail all of the ways to identify outbound spam without reading it’s contents when you control the SMTP relays…
Oh wait that information gives me an edge and I’ve had problems recently with people abusing my kindness to just give them full descriptions and examples of my work. Oh well. I guess it’ll remain a mystery for others to conveniently make negative assumptions about to try to make me cave on.
Ask your seller to refund you because your services is suspended, then go sign up with MXRoute directly.
If they don't provide refunds, tough luck
@Tange you just have confirmation in public some person reads your mail. My advice is to move asap to another provider or to gmail/yahoo since you just need it for personal email. At least that one is free and you have chance to keep it private, as it in real eyes reading
gmail/yahoo and using private at the same sentence.
oh boy, you are actually really just dumb, not even playing as one.
I have been using Bytevirt's email service until Bytevirt's upstream service provider blocked all Bytevirt customers without any warning. Now not only am I unable to receive emails, but my unbacked emails are still on MXROUTE's server and cannot be retrieved. I think MXROUTE is unreasonable to close all accounts without any warning.
Put your glasses on and read again
Let's see...
Do you think your emails are not scanned / read in yahoo and gmail?
What makes you think that? How dumb can you be to think that?
Yes yahoo/gmail hired one real person for each account hosted to read mail 24/24 lmao
I agree. MXroute should not care about its customers exactly as much as that reseller doesn’t care about its own. MXroute should only care about its users exactly as much as the reseller who cares the least about theirs. Perfect strategy.
Thankfully there’s a new provider here on LET that would probably love the orders. Maybe they’ll make a refugee offer 💜
you think one suffered from this will still use the service? come on man, we got balls
All big providers, read: Amazon, Google, Meta, Yahoo etc. scans all the user content 24/7/365 via human and AI and automated measures. And humans read and intervene any content deemed necessary. Emails, messages, images, recorded video (like Ring) is constantly scanned, and read.
When you use a provider's service, just assume that everything is read by someone else. At least you won't suggest dumb things by this way.
I am not suggesting that X provider doesn't do it. I am just stating the fact.
IMO, the reseller is not a techie guy who can access the server and read the logs and fix stuffs. Unless stated on the agreement.
The one should be responsible is still mxroute. Sorry for this.
I forgot the exact details since it’s been a while, but you can see some logs (message ID, and possibly headers?) of outbound email through the API before it hits the premium relays, but you’d have to query it for each domain. I guess that’s like the maximal you can do after vetting orders.
You’re right, I should just terminate the reseller and its customers immediately because it’s my responsibility to keep spammers off of the platform and they won’t filter new orders. I appreciate that input, it’s helpful.
thanks for your concern, of couse i am not using these small Co./ one man hosting whatever you called them for my emails. i know both big company and small company are thief, but i choose to trust big company
Well, or don't use their service, IDGAF. I am telling you, your reseller is suspended. IF you believe your usage doesn't break any rules, then there shouldn't be any issues using MXRoute. @jar said he will unsuspend accounts after he goes thru them.
If you don't like it, find another provider. I guess @jar would say the same. I am not talking for him nor endorsing his services.
Disclaimer: I have BF 2024 package from here that I idle.
I'm just going to quote this again because people can't read
Dude you trusted bytevirt, not MXRoute. Else you would buy from MXRoute directly.
This thread is more heat than that aeza thread, luv it
I think it's time to sue, no other option!
Just a reminder to very specific group of people: You have a deal with
Bytevirt, notMxRoutemake sure you are suing correct company. This thread needs a 75% off discount code also
I'm here if 75% off code drops by any chance.
