They are using this panel program...
https://cyberpanel.net/KnowledgeBase/
okay. But even still. If the files were under directory lock or not "publicly" accessible then the providers excuse here is null. HOWEVER if the files were openly accessible via the big bad web. Then yes. The provider is in the clear while not ethical but still not as "private" as the OP has mentioned.
I have now found that I can only log in to download my stored Linux ISO or download it via an FTP account. I'm not sure if it was the same before for OP. These files are located in: public_html.
The panel you access has a domain, ftp.xxx.com, where "xxx" represents the user's name (but this domain does not actually exist). Besides the domain for logging into the control panel, attempts to add other domains cannot be completed.
He was not hosting it. It was a private storage
So no safe-space for your toe pics 🫢
SpectroHost.com -> CharityHost.org
I'm not sure why but the thing that keeps popping up in my head after reading all this is those videos you get in India where someone cleans someone else's eye with their tongue.
I had a vps with them and I thought it's too fast like nothing else is running, made me think they suspend vps when they feel like it. Maybe a stupid thought, but thats what my brain concluded
You can think in multiverse whatever you want. But fact is moderators shouldn’t close the thread before take the final decision as @DP said earlier. Main thing is the guy (me) violate the tos but provider also violate the tos by invade privacy+asked for money. Thats why this thread come to 20 page.
Your example is irrelevant. Hacking and porn storing isn't same at all.
can we get a VAR review of the private provider thread? Anything funny? Any user mentioned by name?
Do I have to be an actual provider or can I just pay $200 to access the thread?
According to our local law, if a host does not react to abuse, he can be claimed as one of the distributors. As a result, his IP address or domain may be blocked by relevant organizations in Russia.
Sure....
but what you wrote has nothing to do with what I wrote.
CH made one post already mentioned in this thread, and a few other providers just replied telling him to "just grow a pair of balls" and that he was warned about this behaviour in September (the screenshots posted in this thread)
Oh you seem to be new in interacting with our good friend @rustelekom , he has been trained exclusively for this exact thing by the russian propaganda machine.
Why? It's fun
not reacting to abuse can genuinely be seen as enabling/ complicity in general, but some of what you said about Russia makes me think its even more dystopian than the western propaganda i see
There was a screenshot? Where???
page 6, the one quoting my message
I mean it's Russia... They even block some Wikipedia articles lol
Wow that's a lot that could be taken in.
A big no to charityhost. I wouldn't even touch one even if I get one in giveaways.
Perhaps I missed it, but just to clarify, did you make any of your files publicly accessible via http(s) or via anonymous ftp?
Not only that, the russian government even helps with editing Wikipedia articles for our benefit!

You may be punished for crime if you repost or simply like a post on Telegram, X, or anywhere else. Real cases of crime have already happened to some careless people. And, as far as I've heard, the same policy is used in the UK, France, Turkey, and other countries. Government regulation on the internet is now more strict.
Due to our culture. That is a personal choice.
They are so good, right? wow!
yeah and that's wrong; we are seeing a rise of authoritarism around the world... MAINLY Europe
In order to make a final decision, one key aspect is required.
Did you keep the files in public folder?
Think carefully because if the answer is no, then it may become devastating in terms of reputation for Charityhost.
What about gay novels? Verboten verboten verboten?
speaking of which systemfreaks suspend my s3 bucket because it has some porn. When I asked he said I can't store porn on public bucket. They all are the same.. They check clients' data.. has no privacy !!!
