I have finished provisioning for a good chunk.

If your service says active then it's ready & provisioned. If I missed yours then I'm really sorry. I was planning more but I'm a dummy and didn't check the power cords in the lot and most were missing their connectors :s still got quite a few provisioned though. ( Next weekend ALL will be provisioned. )

Really, my 8500t is still not active.

I guess you aren't part of the chunk provisioned today? Open a ticket if you cannot wait a week and want a refund, thanks!

    I thought you had the 10500t? :D

Yeah I do have a 10500t. I’d assumed I’m in the same batch, but guess not :p

FWIW there’s no rush anyway :)

If you thought the 8500t setup was fun @ZachNuyek , you’re in for a real treat with the 10500t setup. Gonna be the best without doubt.

    Very sexy. Congrats

Leasewebs a bit sad in Asia.

That’s been ongoing with them hasn’t it?

Seems fine from other boxes, probably an unlucky timing, or, if not, hopefully gets fixed in the next network upgrade

Yeah, seeing those really hurts my <3 .... network devices should be here tomorrow then have to ship one out to my transit point.

  • ZachNuyekZachNuyek 🚩 Host Rep Tag Suspended

Also it's not so much a box issue, it's more that once I hit around a certain threshold on PPS the original devices just start to struggle and drop packets

  • Hopefully the new networking kit makes a good difference :)

  • Any chance in the future of being able to set up a private network for unmetered traffic between host in the DC, being that all are in the same space?

Depends on product. As long as it has a spare ethernet port I don't mind. These small computers don't and cant without some rigging.

Though the 10500t actually has a thing I can buy to install a 10G port.

Not really sure but if you can do a WIFI m.2 slot to ethernet that universally works I can do that too.. not sure if that requires the OS to support or not

I fucked around and found out the hard way that; yes - depending on OS this can be very nightmare-ish

I bought the cheapest piece of crap I could find on ebay (something like this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/365180871459 ) so honestly you get what you pay for

pretty sure i couldn't even get that badboy working in windows though which is usually the easiest of them all

Could always do some testing but it's a shame it cant support a full 10G due to 1 lane.

I can already hear the tickets "I CAnNoT ReaCH 10G ReEEeEEEeEEE"
