To everyone who commented on this thread, I want to apologize for my absence—or rather, my "rare presence" here.
We've been extremely busy preparing a new batch of servers, expanding to two new locations, and attending conferences across Europe. As a small team, this has left us with less time for forums. On top of that, I also took a short vacation during this period.
I know we had an active campaign, but it didn’t seem like saving the planet was a big topic of interest for this community. That’s why we haven't been very active here over the past two weeks.
Lamest excuse
lol.
As potential customer (well existing one but considered adding new location) I'm interested in addressing server issues mentioned in this thread. When you have everything working well you can start saving the planet but I don't think it's good choice to finance it from such barely sustainable deals.
If you were active here more people would buy your services if you actually care about that.
Quick update: We checked with the datacenter, and they confirmed that they moved out of Lelystad, and are now in Eygelshoven, Limburg. The info about Lelystad was still on their website, which is why we went with it.
We trusted the info on their homepage, but yeah, turns out it was outdated. We’ve let them know it needs an update.
At the end of the day, location specifics aside, what matters for us is having solid Netherlands-based hosting. Just wanted to clear that up.
We will update now our website and everything. Also, @DP if you can/need to update our older posts, if not, we will take care to update our templates and not mislead the people with Amsterdam.
I am very sorry about this issue.
Excuses.
Have a good day/night.
You hire a third party service and you don't realize months later that according to your data center they moved their servers despite the fact that many clients told you that it is not the wrong area to which you offer services? But you are dedicated to giving conferences and saving the planet? Haha, close your business and dedicate yourself to something else!! Months without answering your clients, how can you allow that?
@nohavps easy man, easy ...
Oh..
@nohavps Business not doing too well this days? Or why jump over to some other hoster Thread?
Just mind your own Business i would say.
We all have things to work on.
Lame, very lame, excuse. Is this really how you treat a question already raised in November? "Gonna look on the website, it says otherwise". No, you should have asked because the suspicion was clear. Also: you have experienced downtime quite a lot during the last months - all because of issues for Eygelshoven. You didn't have any contact with your provider? If I had a business and questions would be publicly raised, I'd do everything to answer those questions correctly. You just started the "ignore game" and when the question didn't go away and was supported by quite solid proof, you still didn't act.
Then you don't want to be in Eygelshoven. In the last couple of months: power outage, network issues, network upgrade that went wrong ("no downtime" resulted in hours/days of downtime), DDoS attacks that affected all connected hosters, capacity issues... With the hoster I have a VPS in Eygelshoven, I've counted 14 (!!!) incidents of at least 30 seconds in 24 hours yesterday. Measured from several other DCs in the Netherlands. And not only on my VPS, had a simultanious ping running to another hoster that experienced that same in that DC. Solid hosting? Wouldn't call it that over there.
What a lame, lame, lame excuse. You've logged into this forum about every other day the last period. Even posted another offer. Though an admin was involved and had your thread closed, your provider tag suspended, that wasn't enough to just put a quick note even though you visited? Come on.
If people are OK by being in Eygelshoven, don't trust someone who ignores customers or comes with lame excuses. There are other ones in that DC as well and doing a way better job.
I have multiple VMs in Eygelshoven, which I monitor 24/7 with 20s TCP checks, and none of them have reported me a single issue.

In fact, I still have an SSH session running for 2 days in one of the instances, without a single drop.
HetrixTools hasn't reported any outage either, and I have the agent installed.
That's really strange then - as said, I do quite extensive monitoring from multiple places; and because I wanted to see if it was something at my hoster or something else I started a manual ping to another hoster's LG in that DC. Basically, as soon as I got a report of unavailability, I checked that ping and it was also stalled.
All locations coming from are in the Netherlands though, and if I remember correctly they use fiber to both another NL DC as to a DE DC. Just a thought could be that you're entering from "the other side" which may not have had that issues. But because my visitors are mainly NL based, I always look from within NL.
I must correct myself - I was thinking that the first time I've pointed out that the location wasn't Amsterdam was in November 2024. It was not. It was May 2024; right with the first offer from this provider - and already then you could see it with the latency and route the packets were taking.
It's everything alright? Can you> @nohavps said:

I appreciate discussions and feedback from the community, but I kindly ask you to refrain from posting negative comments about our service, especially as a fellow VPS provider. This presents a clear conflict of interest, as anything negative you say about us could directly benefit your own business.
This thread is meant for discussions between clients and potential customers, not for competitors to critique each other. Let’s keep the conversation fair and professional.
Thank you
Thank you, @zGato! You're right—the location works well, but @Calypso has a valid point. A couple of months ago, there was a major power outage in the area. We were told that large parts of the Netherlands were affected, but we didn’t know it specifically impacted Eygelshoven.
Maybe @Calypso is from the Netherlands or has a significant business presence there, and I understand his perspective. However, for us, there was no reason to suspect a different location. Our focus is on offering diverse locations across different countries and U.S. states—it’s not about a specific city.
When comparing latency between Eygelshoven and Amsterdam, the difference is minimal. In fact, in most of our tests from various countries, Eygelshoven performed slightly better.
The most important thing is that our clients are more than happy with this location. Our refund rate here is exceptionally low, even compared to other locations, and our rebuying rate is very high. Despite having encountered more issues in this location than others, the fact that clients continue to repurchase shows that the servers are powerful and the internet connection is excellent.
That’s why we didn’t feel the need to investigate further.
The Sargasso sea was know to be an unholy heap of trash since biblical times. In the 1050s some dude wrote that its water was brown and bubbling. Should have taken a pic. Impressive how far he went without managing to discover America.
@dapavn: is my withdrawal request UOF-329505 butt-screwed?
Hey @Calypso,
The first time this question came up for us was just a few weeks ago, when you asked. If you had pointed it out before, I must have missed it, and for that, I apologize.
That being said, your persistence in checking if we’re online or not and constantly pushing this issue feels a bit... obsessive? Harassing us like this is a bit embarrassing, don’t you think? Yes, we’ve been online only briefly and focused our replies on customers and pre-sales inquiries. We even responded to you a few times, but based on your overall comments, it seems like you’re always looking for an argument rather than a real discussion.
In fact, several users here even recommended that we avoid engaging with you, which is why I didn’t respond earlier. I simply didn’t have time to argue, and given your reputation, it seemed pointless. I was online just a few minutes a day, juggling a ton of work, and, well... I took their advice.
That being said, I have nothing to hide, and I’m always open to real discussions. Even if it took a while, I acknowledged that you were right—and you were.
But... the way you're making such a spectacle out of it, despite not even being a customer, makes me wonder why you’re so invested in this.
Anyway, I apologize for the late and infrequent replies, but I hope we can move on from this.
@dapavn: don't 🍑𓂸 me
I want to help you adopt a baby tree.
I have to admit, I have no idea what your joke means, but I feel like I should be laughing. 😆 As for the withdrawal, if you're talking about an affiliate payout, we process them daily! If that's the case, let me know so I can check it for you. Otherwise… I'm still trying to decode your message. 😅
My ticket is UOF-329505 and has been pending for some weeks. Process it! No joke!
Thanks
Wow! Sorry for that! It seems that your ticket was assigned to the wrong person. It seems that this "error" it's happening too often from my guys, and I am sorry for that! I will make sure it will not happen again.
I have replied there, can you reply soon?
Thanks for the free VPS! However, I don't need it!
The ticket (UOF-329505) is about a withdrawal request, not a VPS! There's an invoice attached to the ticket, with the amount due.
Thanks
Yes, my bad. I have sent you the money. Thank you for working with us! We really appreciate it!
Sorry I missed your message! It’s been a really busy time for me with a lot of work and not much time to check the forums. I was reading comments quickly and didn’t catch everything. I’m serious about staying more active here, and I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again. This time, it was a mix of a lot of work, little time online, and also a personal vacation.
Interesting take on silent treatment.
I understand that it might seem strange, but I’ve mentioned before that we are a small team and I personally manage this LET account. Between all the work, I also had a short vacation. I think everyone deserves a break now and then, and I don’t quite get why there’s so much fuss about it
It's just about getting your facts right - something that you seem to have problems with doing so. My persistence is that I just can't stand providers who lie. Even though they should know better and have been pointed out that they don't tell the truth. Just don't try to get customers with false information. And if it seems to you that it is "harassing"; if you've replied and taken the comment in May 2024 seriously, you'd find out that indeed you were doing false advertising, you'd been able to correct it swiftly and I'd not have responded anymore. Don't blame me for being persistant, blame yourself for ignoring the evidence.
If I wouldn't have that persistence you'd still believe and shout out you are located in Amsterdam. Your DC partner may think that I'm always looking for an argument (it can be a coincidence, but at least for some reason it's the thing he came up with some time ago), but it's just a matter of not making false promises or telling things that aren't true.
In this case, your reply of "first time this question came up a few weeks ago" is again a lie, and can be checked quite easily. https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3951680#Comment_3951680.
Your comment about latency is all about perspective. As told: I use dutch DCs because of dutch visitors. From one of the biggest internet providers, latency increases from 4ms to 8 to 10ms to Eygelshoven.
You’re right, I missed your comment back in May 2024. If I had addressed it then, this wouldn’t be an issue now. I apologize for overlooking it and appreciate your persistence.
