Hey guys, we have a promo running, you should check it:

    https://rarecloud.io/winter-deals/

    No NL location?

  • The planet its being killed by overpopulation,to much cars, ocean filled with people garbage.

  • Do you have the Looking glass?

  • Again, we're a week further. Over 2 weeks ago I provided proof that your claim of being in Amsterdam (or near Amsterdam) is not true.

You would ask your DC for information. Again: over 2 weeks later you can't tell me that your DC needs this amount of time just to admit that they are not in Amsterdam? They are in Eygelshoven, 200 km from Amsterdam, and that's even closer to Dusseldorf as to Amsterdam where you also have servers.

Saying the NL location is in Amsterdam is false information. I hear a "maybe this" or "maybe that" regarding routing, but as already explained, physically it's impossible to have < 1 ms latency from my host in Eygelshoven to a real Amsterdam host. Also, and that happened a couple of times in the last weeks, when Eygelshoven is unreachable, surprise, also your servers over there are not replying to pings.

Yes, you're right, but if we take care of our forests and plant more trees, we might be able to keep this planet for a while. If we do not take action, I'm not sure how the planet will survive.

    2. Do you allow torrent downloading?
    3. Is the storage SSD?
    4. Is porn allowed?
    5. What is the CPU model on the winter plans?

@dapavn why are you ignoring @Calypso? His question is absolutely pertinent. You're advertising AMS as a location when it's not.

You're avoiding his question, just ask the mods to correct your OP's text. Be damn honest.

Well, to be honest, I'm not surprised that they ignore it. They've done it before (when I asked them), but now at least they've reacted and that just triggered a bit more perseverance from my side.

Why am I so keen on this? Because I mainly have VPSes in my country (NL) and like to spread my risks, so knowing where the VPS is (DC) is crucial. And I already have a VPS in Eygelshoven, a DC with a few known single-points-of-failure. Also the overall impression I have from that DC is not suitable for my usage. Besides giving false information (promising things that are wrong) is something I really hate.

Back to the "ignore" part. It seems that this provider makes a habit of ignoring people/stuff. They have quite some issues and I read here that they don't react on tickets. Fun thing: I have a VPS with them in another location and my ticket earlier this week was responded on quite quickly. So instead of a "first come, first serve" principle, or putting out messages that they've seen the ticket but are working on it, they seem to be selective about what tickets to respond to.

I see what you mean, but I'm basing this on the fact that they simply advertise the location incorrectly and ignore your questions when you've provided useful input.

They should answer your questions accordingly. This is wrong.

IMHO a good example how not to behave towards your customers and (by doing it this way) killing your brand.

Since November I've asked for a number of times to stop advertising the NL location as "Amsterdam" (because it's 200km away from it) and at first it was ignored. Then, every time he mentioned "Amsterdam" I started to react and he picked it up when I provided proof. But then ignored the question again. And again.

Like he does with comments from other users. Paying customers. But keeps on posting a new offer every now and then. And visiting LET regularly - like just an hour ago

    Last Active 12:07PM

But even an Admin approaching him and at the end shutting the latest offer down doesn't seem to trigger a "maybe I should react" idea with him. No, LET is not the support channel for many providers. But it's a public space that you can use to get new customers.

Basically, if he reacted the first, second or even the third time I confronted him with "It's not Amsterdam" he could simply answer "o dear, I was wrong, I'll change my way of advertising it being there". But no, ignoring has brought him this far that he got the attention of the admins and flushed the image of his brand through the drain.

There were only four comments with order numbers on this thread, so we initially waited for more before making the donation. However, since we want to start a new thread, we’ve decided to donate now—and we’ve contributed more than required.

On OneTreePlanted.org, it’s stated: "One dollar helps plant a tree." But given the low number of comments, we decided to donate $10 per comment instead. We will also make additional donations for the orders from our email campaign.

This time, we’ve chosen to support tree planting in Europe, but in future campaigns, we’ll be donating larger amounts to different regions around the world.

You ignore customer comments, you ignore administrator comments, what's going on? Don't you see your customers' comments?

Sometimes that marketing doesn't work because they only want to offer something for the benefit of the company, but the important thing is to invest in their products where their customers don't have that problem!!!!
