Major Path.net Outage. 6 (maybe more) PoPs down at the same time.

    Telehous afaik.

  • Most EQX IX bring them down

And now their lies to customers about DECIX have been exposed as well

Yeah that was a funny one as well, forgot about the de-cix shitshow.

What a joke, they should shut up and migrate everything before trying to sound fancy.

DDoS attacks on Path.net infrastructure are definitely the most sophisticated ones - I rarely hear of any L1 booters, Equinix seems to be number 1 stresser

I guess I was mistaken, I thought Unpaid bills was their new protection method

Whenever guards invent new protection methods, attackers are developing new bypasses

  • you cant attack whats already offline

I think we all remember when DE-CIX FRA failed to verify whether the email was actually sent by a Path employee.

Port was not paid for, but that is not what Path told their customers of course.

Do you all remember Corey (The pedophile)?

He’s still actively working for Path. A conversation between him and Equinix was recently leaked after Equinix started cutting power. They were trying to gain access to one of their sites but could not create a ticket for an access request because they were cut off by Equinix.

Mod edit: Removing image for leaked phone number

I doubt Equinix can hold their hardware for long even if they don't pay, especially with Tempest's hardware in those racks as well. They likely set up a construction where Tempest colocates at Path.

AMS is gone or migrating, ERA-IX is down, lg-api-ams.tempest.net is down.

path.net is currently routing to Frankfurt which is still up and running.

  • Path just added Macarne as an upstream.

Macarne is most likely just leaking routes.

No, they are not leaking routes, it seems like Macarne is their new partner for colocation and IP-Transit.

Got any "proof" since using bgp.tools its not really easy to check and I don't have access to my ipv4 full table atm.

Might actually be a route leak - but they work together.

From what I can see its a route leek but people and macarne are accepting it, or filters have to be updated.

  • ☕ Keep this going fellas, enjoying this
@SoepBlik any more screenshots for us?

  • Path is back up in ERA-IX and Amsterdam in general, but they 100% got Macarne for transit.

  • They are actively chatting on discord now as though as if they have nothing to worry about anymore.

How long can they keep switching datacenters after not paying them for months? Can this be done indefinitely?

No. Capacity that they use supported by limited number of providers. That number is not big. If they keep same hit and run style - they will burn before blackfriday.

There seems to be no shortage of datacenters they can go through especially if each one lasts 6-12 months.

They are cracking jokes on discord about the situation now after weeks of silence.
