  • With a great sense of timing, I purchased a VPS on node05 yesterday. I was wondering why IP and VNC were both not working to reach it.

    @Chunkserve , my only comment at this time, and then I'll leave you to the fixes, is that a short note in Network Status is helpful at times like this. At least a few of us read those and wander off without asking more questions if it's clear that there's a known problem that's being worked on. :smile:

    I don't know what's going on, but it looks very bad. Connection to the VPS is lost again. Connection lose almost every day this year! I can't see VPS' status on the site because it is unavailable. Other providers don't have so many problems. @Chunkserve are you going to fix the problems with your service?

    Daily Backups ofcourse doesn't necessarily mean "user accessible backups" or "user initiated restores". It can very well mean "we make backups daily in case something bad happens to the hardware".

    Lesson #1: always be in control of backups yourself - never trust someone else.

    After the network issues a couple of days back everything is behaving as expected since yesterday morning - at least from my (customer) point of view.

    @TimboJones may you please stop and start the server? It's important not to restart it since proxmox is not propagating the change then :)

    I had server powered off for days and refreshing the web panel settings looking for resource changes. After your post, I refreshed again and now showing extra 1GB RAM.

    When your services (VPS and site) will be work well all the time I won't write you a word. Access to the VPS server information on your site was down at least for 7 hours today.

  • I did a Paypal charger back today and I had no choice because of no communication from him side, but Paypal has denied it because it has more of 30 days. I hope him fix the VPS or refund my money back. he sold a service but I don't have the service working.
    Where are the site supervisor, moderator to review it??

    Let me know, the case number, I'll speed up the refund process for you. Checking Your ticket at the moment. Apologies if I missed it. Please reply me on the ticket and we'll process with everything. Again, of course - it's our fault and I totally understand you :) The core issue was due to service deployment (Proxmox vnc port was already used, and it just crashed on startup - seems like bug, but I'm taking full responsibility on it)!     Edit: And just like that is back online in another minute.

    Same, was down for two minutes according to hetrix. Network only, machine never went down.

    For me.

    Total uptime: 99.6300% (99.6300%)

    Edit - also this was a few minutes ago this happen. Not when you posted.(Around 2 and half after post)

    Hi!
    We received information form our transit provider about short issue with EDGOO networks (upstream). It was fixed rapidly. By the way - as I promised, we moved to the new routing stack - just waiting for the 100G Optics! Also, today we're making up another BGP session with another backup upstream to elevate the network quality!
