That's definitely concerning. Does this host have a fair share policy. If yes, maybe try to find out what's causing this at startup itself or report it to the host.
but in Brazil the authorites WILL NOT search for you lol. Bc they don't search even for killers, imagine this..
Python
Damn. Do you mean to say that gang violence and such is still a big issue in Brazil akin to what Mexico and El Salvador have?
Ahh ok. Nice choice. What guides or resources are you following?
i think they have. I will not complain honestly since i will use it for torrenting lol
Ahh ok then. But, maybe check the kernel logs and dmesg to see if you see anything obviously wrong with something. BTW, does the usage stay exceptionally high only during startup?
Yes, pretty much. In some parts, worst than Mexico. Rio de Janeiro, for instance. It's civil war there -- not joking. I'm talking about areas with +300-400 thousands inhabitants controlled by criminal organizations that have even bazookas to shut down helicopters from the police. We have our mafia as well, the PCC, that controls the biggest state of Brazil, São Paulo. They are way less violent than the Rio de Janeiro thugs but still they are pretty dangerous and you shouldn't mess with them (recently they killed a guy in an international airport)
No. It's still high and it's been some minutes... I honestly will just give up at using it at this point.
Man, that's totally not what I had expected for Brazil. I had always thought Hollywood exaggerated stuff, so, I like to hear such stuff directly from people living there. Thanks for your input.
In the light of all those, what do you think of the new Salvadorian policy of locking up these gang members?
If you are only using Alpine with a few Torrentinf apps, that core usage is unexpectedly high.
what you mean no cap?
No problem! Any doubts and you may ask.
I must say that not ALL of Brazil is extremely dangerous. I live in a place where you can let things in the street and ppl will not pick up. But Rio de Janeiro, especially, is the probably one of the most dangerous places in the earth.
100% good -- it should be put in place here. PCC pretty much controls the country. In 2006, they stopped São Paulo -- the greatest city in LATAM -- and made a massacre that killed +500 people, mostly cops but also civilians. Everything because their leadership got transfered to another prision. And now they are WAY more powerful. If we don't do nothing, then Brazil WILL become like Mexico, where cartels have more money than the goverment
no cap = yes!
Is this just after a reinstall?
If so, virtfusuon first installs a lot of packages and updates the OS to the latest version.
That's just scary. But, you are right, no country is completely dangerous in my opinion. There are certain pockets where these gangs and anti-social elements operate from. Those are the most dangerous. In India too, we had certain pockets ruled by these gangsters and mobsters. But, in most cases, leadership change alone fixed that issue to a very high extent.
Killing 500+ people just because of their leader's transfer, causing collateral damage to civillians in the process as well, is just sad. I had a talk about the Mexican gangs with FrankZ on the BF thread, after I watched Sicario, the movie. He said the gangs there usually don'tinvolve the civillians, to avoid any damage to them. They even ask em to go inside their homes before something is about to go down.
And, as for the Salvadorian policy, might be a bit harder to implement in Brazil just due to the sheer population and geographical size difference between Salvadore and Brazil. Let's hope for a better and safer future.
Using Ubuntu
Ohhh, that is probably what happened
Yes, that's right. After that, the São Paulo's gov made an agreement with PCC to stop violence and today it's way more dangerous in SP than Rio. But it was scary
yeah that's the problem. But Brazil could at least do some harsh policies like invading favelas and forcing the drug dealers out (arresting or ... them)
If nothing else works, maybe time to give Alpine a try. BTW, are you also using VirtFusion?
Alpine on top
And, I am just assuming here that many Govt. agents and police officials are in cahoots with the cartels?
Soon, Alpine's gonna be the top, mid and low for all my projects.
I hope not

Yes. Even Lula, maybe? You never know. But senators and members of the congress certainly.
They (PCC) recently had a plan to kill politicians, including former minister of justice Sergio Moro and people suspect they even tried to kill Bolsonaro.
Anyone selfhosting LLMs?
