After much consideration I have decided that I am ok not tackling that achievement
I want one as well but they are pretty much banned all over the place here. Im fairly certain I can't even mess around in my yard with it. Technically only an issue if neighbors complain. I'd like to have one to race around with for fun
Going up actually, if you are able to decrypt the numbers.

Only 5K more posts or so
Top or bottom.
@Beniskickbutt yes
Both.
Say no more @BlazinDimes , becareful what you wish for!
Been a nice relaxing day here today I think. How about you @BlazinDimes? What do you think
I think @BlazinDimes will get there first
Regarding benchmarks, I haven't rerun YABS again. But I did compile the latest release of asterisk on 3 different vps and started the 3 compiles within a few seconds of each other. The compile looks like it's single-threaded, so it's only using 1 core.
The compile on the cheapest vps finished first ($10.80/year).
HostSailor (2 cores) AMD EPYC 9534 64-Core Processor
Next, the Intel Gold, finished not long after (€49.95/year).
Virtono (4 cores) Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 5218 CPU @ 2.30GHz
And last, RackNerd's E5, finished quite a bit later ($18.93/year).
RackNerd (2 cores) Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 0 @ 2.90GHz
I wonder what @BlazinDimes would have to say about your choice of number.
Ah my mistake. I should've just let @BlazinDimes handle it. Probably would've been cracked by now
I'm a fan of both (good ol farm life) but I'm a bigger fan of drones. The only stories I've heard of someone of the random public shooting down were of photography drones, kids being dumb/harassing (honestly, probably was the "spying on" thing folks instantly jump to/assume), or how places like walmart are testing delivery drones. The key thing with these drones is they're not fast/hover and usually bigger so they're much easier to hit. If it was a fpv/non-photography drone, they're much harder to hit unless they're diving, even for marksmen (there's videos on youtube of a pilot trying to evade and people take it out).
I never had mine shot, I have had a several people come up that started a little aggressive but turned out most were just curious and they enjoy it the views from the photography drone, especially once they tried on goggles. Though the FPV one made them a little sick
Though one was a crazy man and it just blew my mind because I was in a park in the city and there was literally a police station next to the playground he and his kids were at (I didn't see any kids) and I was a ways off. Never even flew close to the playground but he was sure I was taking pictures of his kids. Funny enough, when I said lets go the police so I share my video/pics and gps with them so he could get charged with harassment, he didn't go in with me and I guess he left right away, at least an officer said there was no one at the park. The police did say it wasn't the first time they heard of people harassing people flying there as it's one of the few areas in the metro where you don't need airspace authorization to legally fly (it's basically all controlled airpsace).
The blue dot was the area I was at, the blue square is the area I flew in (did go a little further up into the lake), the yellow square is the playground area, and the drop pin is the police station.

@BlazinDimes only had one theory, and that was something to do with time/date. He doesn't have the motivation to bother figuring out the order in which the numbers are used though.
Double my things please. Order RACKN250103-6120-26150
Will the Reship service not work?
This is part of my daily morning routine, haha.
Is the RackNerd sweater that Ralf keeps asking about one-size-fits-all, or will he need to provide his clothing size?
you specify the size you need/want.
Yeah i figured if @BlazinDimes can't do it nobody can. At this point it's too hard to find the history of numbers as well. Maybe we can start from the top again
I think noob has a way but the hard part is when he has to deal with customs. Seems like it's easier to just take the credit. I think @BlazinDimes was around during that convo so he may have more info
I need to get on that. I forget too often but usually catch someone's reminder. I've been on top of it the last few days. I could benefit to be a little more like @BlazinDimes though. It seems he's usually pretty on top of it
I heard there's only one size sweater and it's ralf size. He posted a pic of himself trying it on in the racknerd winter giveaway thread. Should checkout that thread too if you haven't. Believe i saw the one and only @BlazinDimes make an appearance there as well!
This man is trying to trick you into taking @BlazinDimes sweater! Sorry not @BlazinDimes , meant to say @ralf
I'm hoping for "one-size-fits-all (at once)" size as I'm a bit chubby.
Do you have an idea if you were disk bound or core bound? Were differences possibly on waits for disk time? Can you build in a ram disk? I assume you get ram contention as well with it being a vps but wonder if thats less likely than disk.. @BlazinDimes and myself are curious..
Good idea. If it's a little big we can fit @BlazinDimes in there with you
Also with epyc are your cores dedicated? Do you have the frequency handy? @BlazinDimes probably can get a good approximation of this.
I have a single host sailor vps so that's promising (
) Still racknerd 4lyf though.
