I blame the tiny rat eyes.

Yeah, probably my whiskers got in the way of the stuff at the bottom.

Expected. Anyways, now you have access to it.

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.

Thanks for that, Ig. Anyways, unable to find information on glucose being used in car jumper wires? Any link to rat sites explaining this?

Ah, I see. Too lazy to go through the previous posts. Infact, we have an understanding not to dig and comment on historical posts

If we do it doesn't seem like anyone is adhering to it.

Honestly, a few days ago doesn't even seem "historical". It's not like Jesus rocked up and suddenly we had something to talk about. Even when our glorious purple diety rocked up and opened up a fat pipe on some customer bandwidths, it barely passed without incident.

    Was there a giveaway?

If there was, I wasn't the recipient of any woollen artifacts. It's a travesty, I tell you.

So, was there one? The woollen artifacts are working your way to you, my rat friend. You just gotta be patient

Mouse'd'a just missed it if there was one.

I believe there wasn't. But the party's far from over. 19 days left.

    What? 19 days left?

It feels like someone has pulled the wool over my eyes.

Who pulled that? Couldn't you have requested them to make a sweater out of it at the very least.

You're right. That's the very least you can do with a ball of wool.

Yup. I pity the man who decided to pull wool over a person desperate sweater man

Yeah, it's not going to end well. We're just tying ourselves up in knots.

Yup, anyways, many days left. The party is just warming up.

The party is pretty damn cold without jumpers TBH

How about some jumper wires for now

OOOOH, I love these cables. Fun fact - the so called plastic is actually made from glucose which is why mice and rats love nibbling it so much. When you have lots of wires in a car wiring loom, the glucose insulation is much much lighter than normal rubber insulation and can save over 1kg in weight across all the miles of cabling that goes into a modern car.

For a rat, you are very knowledgeable. Ig, this is common knowledge in the rat kingdom, since it's food. On a serious note, thanks for this information.

It's always good to know where there are food sources when you're stuck in an urban jungle.

Oh yes, that's tru. But, can you link me to some website that actually proves this?

    Right anyway, good night chaps.

My for me to crawl into my freezing cold bed, sans jumper, and freeze to death tonight. Last night it was -5 degrees. That's "damn cold" in US units.

May you be saved very soon by a RackNerd sweater. BTW, you do know that the sweaters are usually US only right?

That's OK, I'm pretty fat so a US-sized sweater works for me.

Not the size, the shipping. So, you will have to pay for shipping from US to UK. But sometimes, there are international GAs on merch as well. So, hope for the best.

That seems a little mean. Giving away thousands of dollars in a TV prize, and probably paying a ton to ship it somewhere, but he can't even stick my sweater in a jiffy bag and post it for a buck or two. A jumper's what, 400g maximum? That's about 14.832163 ounces in US units.

  • Damn, was just watching a YT shorts on the matter a few hours ago. Seems Squid Game isn't "all" fiction. A similar incident did happen in ROK - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brothers_Home (not a game show, but a labour/concentration camp)

It says soy not glucose. Rats have less ability to remember than elephants.

Probably because they find it hard to keep warm without sweaters and get brain freeze.

Mean? I don't know. Shipping international comes with a lot of headache when it comes to customs clearance. RackNerd being a US-based company, makes sense for them to ship most merch only to US. If they were to single out certain regions they would ship to, for example, UK, it'd be kinda disappointing to someone, say in Brazil.
Anyways, as I already said, Dustin is generous enough to throw international GAs on merch at times. If not, pretty sure you can shell out a buck or two for your precious sweater, right?

Sure, but it's easy to ship to the UK. Not really relevant if Brazil makes it hard to import sweaters, because he only needs to send the sweater to the UK. simples.

Unfair, in any case. Why not just spend the buck or two yourself though? Again, there are international giveaways, so, this discussion might just be futile altogether.

How's it unfair? Nobody in Brazil is going to win anyway?

But a buck? Sure, I'd buy that for a dollar.

We got @DeusVult from Brazil. And, he has chances of winning the sweater as much as you do.

Anyways, since you are ready to spend the dolalr incase it isn't international, that's settled then.

Ah, I see. Too lazy to go through the previous posts. Infact, we have an understanding not to dig and comment on historical posts

If we do it doesn't seem like anyone is adhering to it.

I am sorry to hear that, Blazin. Since you guys talked of the issue, I have personally kept my promise. But, as I said back then, I can only guarantee my abstention from that behaviour. Others unfortunately might just decide to ignore it completely regardless :(

    I didn't promise him anything!

I don't even remember him saying anything about this rule. But if he posts a link to it, I'll certain comment on it to let him know my feelings about such a cruel and prescriptive decree and how it oppresses my right to free speech.

Oh, he was talking about you? No offense, let me explain what he was talking about. Then, you can decide. Me and Ben, a few hundred pages ago, were involved in waking up to 40-50 pages of comments and were involved in replying to every comment in those 40-50 pages quoting us (exclusively, me, at least). This did bother people who were online and having a convo at the time we were replying. So, we decided not to dig up old posts.

Sure, youa re entitled to your free speech and decide for yourself. It's not like what any of us says, is the law here. Good luck.

    A FEW HUNDRED PAGES AGO?

I ain't reading that much shitposting. Nah uh. That stuff never happened.

Me as well. Not gonna go digging into the past just to show it to you. Ig, you can choose to believe me that such an episode did happen, or on the contrary, disregard. As I said, no one decreed anything here.
Truth is, we are all here to win something and have a good time.

You seem to be trying to psy-op me into believing Dustin won't send me the sweater. I've had people send me stuff from the US before. I think Fedex and UPS are both pretty good at it.
