I'd say "never go full retard" but I think it is too late.

    Why what happened?

He was hoisted by one of his own.

Ah, I see. Too lazy to go through the previous posts. Infact, we have an understanding not to dig and comment on historical posts

If we do it doesn't seem like anyone is adhering to it.

I am sorry to hear that, Blazin. Since you guys talked of the issue, I have personally kept my promise. But, as I said back then, I can only guarantee my abstention from that behaviour. Others unfortunately might just decide to ignore it completely regardless :(

    I didn't promise him anything!

I don't even remember him saying anything about this rule. But if he posts a link to it, I'll certain comment on it to let him know my feelings about such a cruel and prescriptive decree and how it oppresses my right to free speech.

Oh, he was talking about you? No offense, let me explain what he was talking about. Then, you can decide. Me and Ben, a few hundred pages ago, were involved in waking up to 40-50 pages of comments and were involved in replying to every comment in those 40-50 pages quoting us (exclusively, me, at least). This did bother people who were online and having a convo at the time we were replying. So, we decided not to dig up old posts.

Sure, youa re entitled to your free speech and decide for yourself. It's not like what any of us says, is the law here. Good luck.

    A FEW HUNDRED PAGES AGO?

I ain't reading that much shitposting. Nah uh. That stuff never happened.

Me as well. Not gonna go digging into the past just to show it to you. Ig, you can choose to believe me that such an episode did happen, or on the contrary, disregard. As I said, no one decreed anything here.
Truth is, we are all here to win something and have a good time.

You seem to be trying to psy-op me into believing Dustin won't send me the sweater. I've had people send me stuff from the US before. I think Fedex and UPS are both pretty good at it.

Was just trying to tell you, that you might have to spend a dolalr or two on shipping. But, if you are hell-bent on believing, I am trying to psy-oping you, that's your prerogative.

    Right anyway, good night chaps.

My for me to crawl into my freezing cold bed, sans jumper, and freeze to death tonight. Last night it was -5 degrees. That's "damn cold" in US units.

May you be saved very soon by a RackNerd sweater. BTW, you do know that the sweaters are usually US only right?

That's OK, I'm pretty fat so a US-sized sweater works for me.

Not the size, the shipping. So, you will have to pay for shipping from US to UK. But sometimes, there are international GAs on merch as well. So, hope for the best.

That seems a little mean. Giving away thousands of dollars in a TV prize, and probably paying a ton to ship it somewhere, but he can't even stick my sweater in a jiffy bag and post it for a buck or two. A jumper's what, 400g maximum? That's about 14.832163 ounces in US units.

Mean? I don't know. Shipping international comes with a lot of headache when it comes to customs clearance. RackNerd being a US-based company, makes sense for them to ship most merch only to US. If they were to single out certain regions they would ship to, for example, UK, it'd be kinda disappointing to someone, say in Brazil.
Anyways, as I already said, Dustin is generous enough to throw international GAs on merch at times. If not, pretty sure you can shell out a buck or two for your precious sweater, right?

Sure, but it's easy to ship to the UK. Not really relevant if Brazil makes it hard to import sweaters, because he only needs to send the sweater to the UK. simples.

Unfair, in any case. Why not just spend the buck or two yourself though? Again, there are international giveaways, so, this discussion might just be futile altogether.

How's it unfair? Nobody in Brazil is going to win anyway?

But a buck? Sure, I'd buy that for a dollar.

We got @DeusVult from Brazil. And, he has chances of winning the sweater as much as you do.

Anyways, since you are ready to spend the dolalr incase it isn't international, that's settled then.

I haven't even once seen him pipe up and say he wants my sweater.

Okay, buddy. Youa re the only one who would win the sweater. And, regardless, my offer stands. If I win one, it's yours.

    You da best1

  • Moreover, the sweater is not part of the main prize pool, the one that you win based on your engagement. It's part of the random GAs. Anyways, that's the end of my time discussing the sweater. Anything I say, you will just consider psy-oping.

You didn't realise that as well? BTW, yup, it's guaranteed though, not as a part of the main prize pool. Infact, if anyone's active enough, they can get the sweater during one of those random giveaways we all love.

Doesn't he want the TV anyway?

Believe it or not, Ben wants the TV.

Believe it or not, everyone wants the TV, almost like, a competition. :p

Maybe I could win the TV and get it shipped in the US to someone who'd swap it for a sweater and postage.

Now that would be a deal i can get behind. I could rest easy then and focus my efforts on a sweater instead. Perhaps i could knit it for you. That may be a better use of my time

Yeah i mostly ended up here by chance because noob was going ps5 and trk and xpress gunning for the lappy. If all 3 of them got up there, i'd get pushed out of the TV by default. • Do we know if TrK or Xpress can take delievery of the lappy and still want to trade the telly for it? I asked yesterday as well but wherever that post went it got lost.. my notifications are a lost cause and I can only see things as they happen in real time at this point

ha no.. i didnt notice. I just thought it became a thing after people got it when they over drew for the gleam giveaway. Thought everyone was hyping it up since then and didnt know it was a thing here ;) I was just paying attention to the telly and ended up being blind to everything else!

I can tell. You already have your eyes glued onto the TV

Doesn't he want the TV anyway?

Believe it or not, Ben wants the TV.

Believe it or not, everyone wants the TV, almost like, a competition. :p

I am going for the PS5. While the 75 inch TV is definitely something I'd love to go for, I can't get it here. The PS5 on the other hand has better chances.

Do you think you have a way to get the ps5 out there, or looking like you are going to get credits? Have someone you can ship too or maybe just planning on paying the import fees/taxes?

Not gonna import it directly in any case. A gaming PC is tough to transport, but, the PS5, my friend in the US can easily bring to India.

nice! Maybe you can help trk or xpress if they want to do the telly for lappy trade too and they are unable to find a way to get the lappy brought back

  • In any case, no one goes home empty-handed on the RackNerd thread, if they genuinely understand the spirit of the thread and are ready to chime in.

    Doesn't he want the laptop?

Forget the rankings presently, he did say he's aiming for the TV and like you want the sweater, he desperately needs the TV. Ig, he is just trying to stay on the top to atleast end up in the 3rd spot.

Yeah i mostly ended up here by chance because noob was going ps5 and trk and xpress gunning for the lappy. If all 3 of them got up there, i'd get pushed out of the TV by default. That gave me the wonderful idea of just try to win the laptop myself and trade it with whomever lands in the Telly slot> @noob404 said:

Moreover, the sweater is not part of the main prize pool, the one that you win based on your engagement. It's part of the random GAs. Anyways, that's the end of my time discussing the sweater. Anything I say, you will just consider psy-oping.

True that! Especially when the GA and flash sales start flowing, everybody finds them selves a winner!

Chances of anyone overtaking you at this point seems virtually impossible. But, I'd still have my head on a shovel.

A SHOVEL!? Do you mean a swivel ;) Im ok if you pass me. Ultimately my worry is whether i land in slot 3 or not.. Well.. If you pass me.. The only worry i have in that case is that I end up with a ps5 that I would utilize even less than a lappy xD

Dont worry. I am not gonna pass you. But, that's only because of the promise in my signature. And, yes, I meant a swivel. I woke up pretty early in the morning. So, can't say I am at a 100% yet. Pardon me.
