US and EU
The more customers, the merrier!
Hi, you have a single upstream (Host Universal) now, will you consider adding other more upstreams?
Host Universal is our IP transit provider and they have multiple upstreams in each location.
Our devices are connected to Host Universal with full redundancy as well.
@onidel That is cool news to me, I'd like to try out a US or EU server from you in the future.

Will there be support for BGP communities in the future?
if there is enough demand, yes
New Update - Backup & Snapshot Download
The release yesterday includes multi-currency support, Snapshot & Backup download, along with several UI improvements.
USD & EUR Support
When you create a new account with us, you can choose between Euros, US Dollars, and Australian Dollars. Once the currency is selected, it cannot be changed due to technical limitations. However, existing customers can create a new team and request to transfer their services to the new team, where they can select a different currency. For more details or assistance, please contact our support team.
Backup & Snapshot Download
You can now download the raw image of your backups and snapshots, providing an additional layer of security for disaster recovery planning. This ensures your data remains accessible, even in offline environments.
For convenience, you can use our public API to generate download URLs, enabling you to automate your backup processes. In upcoming releases, we plan to introduce functionality allowing you to upload your own VM images and spin up new VMs from them.

Bug reports, feedback, and suggestions are always appreciated!
and yes, you can choose SSH keys when reinstalling OS @emgh
promotion code box is also moved to a better place (I believe) @DP
Downloadable snapshots should be the industry norm. It’s crazy that basically no cloud offers it. Thank you @onidel !
Is there a fee for this?
And your panel is great IMHO, and API + downloadable backups/snapshots are also very nice!
Nice!
Now all we need is a 50% off code to test this
You can have 10 % first invoice I’m sure
Just to test
Thank you. There is no fee. Just open a ticket and we will sort it out
New Feature Release: Attaching Snapshots & Backups
This is a cool feature that we wanted to support for a while but had to prepare the infrastructure and research the most efficient solution. Customers can now temporarily attach snapshots and backups to their cloud servers. This allows you to view and recover individual files without needing to perform a full restore.
It's instant attachment and no reboot required, thanks to our SSD-based backups and 40Gbps private links. Attached volumes can only be mounted in read-only mode to ensure data integrity.
You can read more here - https://docs.onidel.com/features/attach-a-snapshot-backup-to-your-server
This release brings us one step closer to a comprehensive backup feature set! With Onidel, customers can now:
Coming soon: Uploading raw disk images to complete the backup trio!
Bug reports, feedback, and suggestions are always appreciated!
These updates remind me of Vultr's early days. Updates updates updates and boom they're big and left LET, sad.
Hope you don't forget us when your time comes.
We hope the same
Growth is important, but so is remembering where we started and the people supported us along the way
Amsterdam when?
we are hoping this week ... there were some delays from our colo partner.
New Feature Release: Peer Server
This is a nice feature for those who have more than 1 server within the same DC. The Peer Server functionality enhances system reliability and fault tolerance for mission-critical applications by ensuring that two servers are not hosted on the same hypervisor node.
You can assign a server as a peer to another, and if necessary, the platform will automatically initiate a live migration to keep them on separate hypervisors. Thanks to the distributed storage cluster, the live migration should be very quick since the platform does not need to transfer the VM disk data
For those waiting for Amsterdam, the launch has been delayed by a few more days. The current ETA is now set for the end of this week.
We have completed setting up the network equipment, announcing IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes, and configuring the storage cluster in Amsterdam. However, we have just identified a hardware fault and are currently investigating. It is not a big deal and will not impact the launch, as it is limited to a single node. If needed, we can always live migrate VMs during maintenance.
We will share more details later today or tomorrow about the offers available across all our locations.
Also, we have just launched our new website – https://onidel.com!
What kind of deals are you looking for in Amsterdam?
i know what @emgh will say
$2.98/yr 2 gb ram it s correct
WITH IPV4
@onidel if you think I’m unresonable note that the above is in USD, feel free to adjust to $4.79 AUD of course
people says once upon a time ...
I would prefer that in SG thank youuuu
You can get Premium Ryzen 2GB for A$0.0145.
Only concession you have to make is you don’t run it for more than 1 hour a year. Given the way most people here idle VPS, that shouldn’t be that big a trade off really.
banned.
Megathread potential.
Should invite all megathread squad members here.
As you run hourly billing it could be cool to give people like 10-15€ to test stuff - whatever they want, whenever they need, wherever they want etc.
However no idea if you have all anti-abuse things in place and if some random guy gets that he won't spawn 1000 machines for 1 hour to sent 198581598198589 spam e-mails.
