    This is what I am thinking. Maybe a drive on my local machine with a Wireguard tunnel setup using DNS (I have dynamic IP). What do you guys think?

    Depends on the provider of VPS but Local backup is the best when it comes to speed you can easily access the data, if vps provider gives good options for data security then VPS

    Understandable, I buy disc version for the same reason also

    Yes physical media is the best, part of the reason I wish that ps5 is not the digital edition @dustinc but we are greatful for any prizes

    Hopefully, someone figures out a way to add a drive to the digital edition in the future.

    If @dustinc is giving the digital version of PS5 Slim, it supports additional disc drive and can be bought separately

    Oh yah,had completely forgotten about the disc drive accessory.

    RackNerd has the best pool of prizes. So, I think it is fair that they look for engagement (post count), which would help keep the thread up on the list and thus, in the limelight.     Also planning to run the Wireguard tunnel on a Docker container with the volume mapped to the HDD. This will probably help me isolate it safely and also make sure that the wg tunnel is hopefully not abused by anyone.
    I might be blabbering here, cause, I am new to this, and am just theorising. Any inputs are welcome.
