  • I am glad this thread exists. I got 2 servers as part of the BF deal, 1 got provisioned, waiting for the other one.

    Cheers everybody!

gloating about having 100 TB storage

Yeah, fancy that, a discussion of storage on a hosting forum. Boy, I wonder what you'd say if you found out I also own a car...

Look, if your agenda is to tear down a provider, and you can't even back up your own claims of finding superior alternatives, then don't pretend that you're the one here making cogent arguments.

For those who are still waiting for provisioning, don't worry. HostHatch has never failed to deliver, even if the timetable for promotional services might be delayed.

I've used HostHatch for years and have many services with them. @itachikonoha would call that "gloating," but it actually shows I have experience with the provider.

    Have you answered my question?

You want replies from others yet when asked, you refuse stating "I don't reply 20 questions." (there is only one BTW)

So cut the BS and either reply to my query so that I can answer based upon that or just leave it.

  • @itachikonoha said: Have you answered my question?

This is one of the best VPS offers with dedicated vCores at $8/month when paid for three years.

    @hosthatch is a premium provider

Not many options with 32GB ram and dedicated cores for such price range

  • As frustrating as it may be, it's right there in the listing:

    What is the setup time?

The setup time is 10 working days (2 weeks). Most will get delivered much earlier. Some may get slightly delayed. Please order one of the packages from hosthatch.com directly if immediate provisioning is needed. We cannot offer faster provisioning on special plans.
Opening tickets to inquire about the delivery timing will reset the two week timer. Support time is extremely expensive, please use it with care.

Granted it's been 13 business days now, this still should not have been treated like an immediate offer. It's more so a pre-order for something with a long/unpredictable delivery date. That's how HostHatch's sales have been for me anyway.

I have 9 services with them. 3 storage vps and the rest compute vps, I originally became a customer during their BF sale a couple years ago, so I understand your frustrations. I was a bit perplexed then too. They're a great provider, they just don't prioritize their "sale" items (support, provisioning, etc..), so act accordingly considering that.

  • I think a couple of people actually opened a ticket about this. Was there any response about the delays?

    I totally agree 100%.

It is clearly mentioned in the offer post, yet some folks become impatient when they see some folks getting VPS being delivered.

This is more of pre-order with unpredictable delivery date of 2-3 weeks, as you have mentioned as well.

Yes. But it's better to under promise and over deliver.

It's natural to see delays. But with proper communication that news is absorbed much better.

I know HostHatch team has improved considerably. Just a nudge more and they will be in the best books for majority.

Of course there will be some haters.

But from the looks I hope @hosthatch feels better overall.

I have been HH customer for two+ years and soon will be completing three years.

I have three VPS with them. All of them running Windows Server OS, including the storage vps.

24 gb / 2 dedicated vCores + 4 shared vCores / 300 GB NVMe / 50 TB monthly bandwidth is most powerful among the three. And the best part, it is a monthly offer, not tied to year or longer term.

This is my best pick for offers posted

    4 vCores
(2 dedicated core, 2 shared vCores)
    32 GB RAM
    400 GB NVMe storage
    32 TB premium bandwidth

My favourite compute (although I don't use it enough) is this 2yr in SG from 10/2023:

3 AMD EPYC cores (100% dedicated, burstable up to 300%)
    8 GB DDR4 RAM
    100 GB NVMe Storage
    5 TB premium bandwidth
(1.5X RAM and storage, and double bandwidth for 2 year payments)
    $75 USD per year

    GB6:

    Single Core | 1717
    Multi Core | 4509
