Ok, I'll make sure to correct that the next time. Thank you.

    ARIN https://www.arin.net/
I recommend reading their guides before applying.

  • I'm looking for a /24 (RIPE) for personal projects, no abuse or similar to be expected - preferably with reasonable abuse handling and not instant blackhole etc..

You have to wait for ~3y on ARIN waiting list.
Of course, you can also purchase a subnet. However that's pricy AF!

NRPM 4.10: organizations may request a /24 of IPv4 address space to facilitate the transition to IPv6

Is it possible to bypass the waiting list by doing this? I am allowed to have ipv4+ipv6. I don't have any arin resources under my name. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

Nope. Have to provide solid documentation.

  • If I provide reliable files, will I not need to wait to get ipv4 through NRPM 4.10?

Do you need the IPv4 addresses to facilitate the transition to IPv6?

Temporary deployments are not subject to waiting list. However, ARIN checks the actual use of IP allocations and if used for anything else than strict communication between devices for IPv6 deployment, IP allocation will be retracted.

So you can't use them to actually host sites, virtual servers, mail... and any other service for which you would require a normal/regular allocation.

4.10 allocations are usually used internally exclusively to facilitate interconnection between devices where you need to deploy v6.

  • What is the current price to buy arin /24 ?

Thats not exactly true. Can get ARIN approved /24 within a couple months every 6 months if you apply the right way to enable ipv6 dual stack transition. Free consulting done.

I can tell you that I am on the waiting list for almost 2yrs already. Of course, for a legit subnet, not 4.10.
