Hm, that double outgoing email quota at crane looks like attempt to slam you. Maybe mxroute will increase outgoing quota?
Though, Port 587 is open on us1.workspace.org but not responding for SMTP. Mind check @Francisco ? I could succeed with 465 though.
Yeah, you can chop up that storage/domain limit however you want - and apply restrictions on mailboxes/etc - even though we don't.
Overselling is enabled as well, so you could have 20 clients with a 15GB quota each on the base plan - the only issue there is, once you max the 150GB of usage all of those accounts get suspended. So you need to keep tabs on that and upgrade the account when it's close.
To expand on this.
Auto suspending isn't enabled at the moment for users over usage, but the framework is there and tested. To start we'll just send out warning emails, and then work towards suspending.
I think I borked this due to STARTLS, I'll fix it today.
Francisco
Thanks! Pretty good.
@jar / MXRoute is 300 (now 400?) mails hourly per ACCOUNT.
NameCrane is 600 mails hourly per DOMAIN (external recipients)
Big difference.
Not really comparable and I think in some use cases even 600/hour may not be enough but @Francisco did clarify that they're going to look at it case by case if/when required.
For the non-reseller plans can we assign different admins for different domains, and allocate storage for each domain (or group of domains) ?
I want to purchase for 3 years. Can I purchase Annually and Biennially to stack them into 3 years?
I did some investigations on this and posted a comment before: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4120564#Comment_4120564
The eMClient license you received is equivalent (on my view) to One-time payment Business 3 devices license WITHOUT lifetime Upgrades.
You will receive three emails after you activated the license:
1. SmarterTools email to your Postmaster@ account
2. SmarterTools email to your registered email address (Info you provided when requesting the eM Client license)
3. eM Client email to your registered email address
The first two emails would only contain the license key and it is identical.
The third email from eM Client would contain your license key, login credential to License Manager and login credential to their VIP support portal.
Unlike Personal license, your business license would allow you to manage activation, some per device / client specific settings and reassign the licenses.
I do not know what SmarterTools would do if you remove your domain from the account while having eM Client license (hopefully they won't revoke them, but it's a possibility), might need to reach out to SmarterTools directly and ask.
Any chance for promos on cPanel Biennially plans?
Shifted one domain from mxroute to NameCrane, so far working good. Forwarding takes around 60 seconds but does the job correctly.
I think it's worth it, saves time and effort. I trust BuyVM. @Francisco

No since we don't know what cPanel's going to do on pricing in a year. We have a good idea given trends, but we'd 100% be underwater on them.
I'll see where that's tweakable
You can make as many admins as you want, you don't even need to keep the postmaster@ account if you want. You can swap who the primary admin is as well.
We went with postmaster@ as a 'probably not used for other tasks' like admin@ is for many people.
Francisco
Can anyone point where it is ? I couldn't find it out. Though I don't need anything to move but putting it in knowledge will be a plus !
Hello. Please help my ticket. Thank you

Click Settings -> Connections -> Migrate.
We're working on more docs

New signups only AFAIK.

I can just add some triennial pricing, easier than doing a weird combo order and merging it. Give me a bit.
New orders. Not doing weird upgrade promos that get me in trouble with the accountants.
Triennial billing options added to the DA Shared & Reseller plans.

@NameCrane @Francisco #CRANE-6566; fraud alert despite verified with amex safekey.
Using a VPN (to match geography) as I am traveling. As other's already mentioned - the fraud check is a bit too hostile.
Edit - VPN was the culprit. Re-ordered via mobile data and all good
Also had some issues there. Had to get cashapp to get it to work.
Just curious: What is the rationale for doing things this way?
SG shared have redis support?
Yes, it's available on all plans/locations.
Custom redis implementation that uses unix sockets, so support varies by plugin/extension - but works great with LSCache as an example.
That's cool, thanks!
I think when the EU is launched, users can switch data centers by paying the price difference, which will greatly dispel the concerns of those who want to purchase EU nodes.
Ticket #CRANE-6573
Kindly look into this.
@NameCrane
usually how long would it take from pending to active?
