    Yes. So login as a domain admin, then go to domain settings -> accounts. At the top it says Accounts/Users on left, and Aliases on right - click on Alias.

    You can create a distribution group/alias for name: abcdgroup and then put those 3 emails in below. You can either make it internal-only, so only @abc.com users can email it, or you can make it publish so any emails will go to all 3 of those accounts.

    You can brand the login page - so mail.yourdomain.tld or whatever you set. The SSO sign-on page that will work across all nodes in future, let users access SpamExperts, etc is only going to be customizable for resellers though.

    Do a password reset. If you had a BuyShared account in the past - we migrated your user over when we split it off into NameCrane.

    nope never had one also after reseting the pass and logging in it says

    No accounts found.
    
    To create a new account, you will need to place a new order.
    

    and when i go to order and select my deal it says create a account not login

    and same loop continues

  • I understand your concerns about abuse and I also understand your TOS, but there is one sentence in the TOS that I’m particularly concerned about:
    "NameCrane may cancel or suspend your access to NameCrane services at any time and for any reason without notice."
    This makes me feel uncomfortable, or perhaps this phrasing should be revised?

    I believe it's just 1 year of updates on the license they bundle. 1 license/3 devices, 1 year of updates. Unclear if SmarterMail allow you to generate a new one after that first year.

    It seems that the most important thing is whether you are willing to make a major version update.

    Just setup the account and idling it for a week so couldn't test anything. Btw saw in other thread that you are willing to part with 25GB mxroute 6$ plan - i will be interested in that. Whats the renewal pricing? I already have account with mxroute so can raise a ticket for the switchover.

    @NameCrane / @Francisco - what's policy / terms of using it as storage? I know its not E2E or anything fancy, so like most here I won't be putting important / private stuff in the storage. What's your tolerance wrt other things? Like what is reasonably allowed to be stored in the server other than linux distros? :tongue:

    Is the files monitored or automated scanned for metadata?

    Keep it legal by US lingo. We arent digging through peoples crap and have made it a policy to ask permission before entering people’s accounts.

  • May be @NameCrane / @Francisco can consider an option for early adopters (who wanna give NC $$$ to generate interest ($) and okay with idling the service for a while) to move service to EU once its available.

    Something like they get new EU service and their US service (and data) gets purged in 7 days. Onus on user to move data if they want so that there's no overhead cost incurred to NC.
