    I won't be taking any deals this time around, since I already have like 5 HostHatch servers, mostly paid 3 years in advance, and I renewed the ones I got like 4 years ago.

    Highly recommend this provider for quality services that are affordable. Had very few issues over the past 4 years.

    Tempted by this one:

    6 CPU cores (2 dedicated, 4 fair-shared cores) ROME/MILAN
32 GB RAM 
300 GB NVMe storage
50 TB premium bandwidth
$130 per year
(Double storage, and bandwidth for 3 year payments for all locations)

    But I already have this one from last year:

    8 CPU cores (300% dedicated, burstable up to 800%)
32 GB RAM 
350 GB NVMe storage
20 TB bandwidth
$190 per year
(1.5X RAM, storage, and double bandwidth for 3 year payments)

    too bad there's no "update this server to match the new deal" button in the control panel.

    You have to take it. I had a severer 2c8G60G for 120/3y, and now is 87$/3y and more 40G disk.

    I want to get a second VPS based on NVMe, to make one hybrid VPS. If I have a storage in Stockholm, should I buy a NVMe VPS located in Stocholm or it' doesn't matter? Ping and so on doesn' matter in that case? If it would be London-Stockholm, nothing bad?

    I plan to connect two servers using the SSHFS program

    Need advice :)

    Yes, it matters. If you are dealing with small transfers the latency will kill you; for streaming access to large files it would probably be ok (but not great). SSHFS is a good choice; you might also consider using rclone to mount the remote machine with a local cache (if enough available capacity on the NMVe) to optimize access patterns.

    Get your NVMe in Stockholm too so you can use private networking between compute+storage

    Get your NVMe in Stockholm too so you can use private networking between compute+storage

    They’ve also been planning bandwidth sharing as a future feature so you can pool bandwidth caps. Haven’t confirmed is that’s per data centre or per continent or whatever yet, but same location would seem the safest bet if that’s of interest.
