    How can a company like this not have alternative power sources in place? I used the service for about a month and a half and requested compensation for the last month due to the repeated outages, but they refused.

    There was an incident 2 days ago at one of our Frankfurt clusters resulting in downtime. The issue has been fixed and that cluster is stable till then.

    These clusters are hosted in Equinix datacenters in Frankfurt with dual power circuits.

    For European readers that may ask themselves:
    The $28.28 USD pricetag for a 3yr Frankfurt VPS with 1x vCore and 2GB RAM translated to 27,37 EUR.
    NOTE: I used debit card and the somewhat higher initial payment amount of 33,12 EUR was quickly followed by a 5,75 EUR refund, so only 27,37 EUR was actually paid. Perfect!

    For EU customers we're obliged to collect VAT (around 20% depends on the country of the customer). If you have a business VAT ID, we don't need to collect VAT.

    Appears to be a DHCP issue. I'll try applying the IP address details manually and if that doesn't work I'll come back with a ticket id.
