    The unguaranteed 300 Mbit on these already bad servers just shows how much better the flash sale was

    What do you mean by "unguaranteed 300 Mbit"? I don't see a difference regarding network specifications on the website between LE-number or LE-letter?

    Probably thinks on API, because when you order through API, it says unguaranteed, while the others are "guaranteed". Website is showing the same just "Public 300 unmetered"

    KS-A has 100Mbit and KS-LE-1 has 300Mbit unguaranteed

    300Mbps unmetered public bandwidth 0.0
    bandwidth-300-unguaranteed

    On the LE-1, some locations struggle to hit 300mbit usually 50-90mbit average from what I’ve seen

    It’s different from the flash deals and I’m not sure why…it just makes the shit BF deals even worse imo

    I'm sure pretty much all kimsufi has unguaranteed bandwidth and all offers, KIM-LE, SYS-LE, RISE-LE, for the guaranteed, it says on the website itself it's guaranteed. Probably depends on the location and rest of the things how lucky you are.

    You can now select the datacenter directly, without needing to configure it.

    Hi neoon, first of all thank you so much for your script. I do have a question: if in the configs file we have datacenters separate by a comm(e. g. "gra, rbx") will it check on both datacenter and get it from one of them? Or should i put one datacenter per time?

    Just once DC at the time right now.

    Furthermore: is it possible to say "get it from any datacenter in europe, no matter which one"? If so, what should be the config value?

    You have to set anyDatacenter and switchRegion to true.

    Thanks!

    Just to be clear, sorry for bothering you, but if i want to get every where in europe (only europe) my config should be like this?

    "switchRegion":false,
    "anyDatacenter":true,
    "autoPay":true,
    "ovhSubsidiary":"IE",
    "application_key":"XXXXXXXX",
    "application_secret":"XXXXXXXXXXX",
    "dedicated_datacenter":"rbx",
    "region":"europe",
    "consumer_key":"XXXXXXXX"

    No, are you sure you are using the correct branch?

    Can you please point me out the wrong parameters so i can modify/delete them from the config file?

    Thanks,
    Valenerd

    The example exists in the repository.
    https://github.com/Ne00n/Operation-Chicken-Nugget/blob/KS-Auto/config.example.json

    Thanks for the script! Do you know what parameters to add if we want to get from like the US OVH? Want to get something from Hilsboro that's currently out of stock :/

    I added OVH US however not tested.

    If that's a SYS-LE-1, you won a hell of a downgrade in the lotto.

  • Except idling, what are you all using the servers for?

    I use mine for Nextcloud and AI transcribing/translating subtitles (OpenAI Whisper and MarianMT).

    With the monthly cost of my two KS-LE-B, back of the envelope calculation says I can run a 100W device for a month where I am (electricity is not cheap). Not sure if I could run two E3 systems on 100W... plus these v5/v6 servers are not yet so cheap on eBay.
    And of course, no noise.
    I kept a NUC essentials under the TV.

    Please send me OVH script

    I use mine for Nextcloud and AI transcribing/translating subtitles (OpenAI Whisper and MarianMT).

    Wife Approved homelab.
    I kept a NUC essentials under the TV.

    you can get n100 mini pc with 7w in idle, 10w-18w heavy load.

    Yeah that would be the reasonable thing to do, for sure lol.
    The NUC does that, it's not a n100 but not that far.
    I thought of hiding two n100 in a closet but with 32GB RAM and 4TB worth of NVMe, that might get a little pricy even on Aliexpress.
