    I got my KS-LE-1 in BHS earlier today, and I'm pretty bummed that my latency to it is ~5% more than to my old i3-2130 box, also in BHS.

    I can't fathom the cause of this. Was KS-LE-1 previously in the GAME lineup, and does it suffer from that networking? But I don't see any mention of “anti-DDoS” on the product page, unlike, say, KS-LE-A.

    Upgraded the bot again.
    You can now select the datacenter directly, without needing to configure it.

  • Has anyone ordered SYS-LE-3?

    I'm trying to order SYS-LE-3, but the checkout page tells me that they are going to bill me €73.79 next month instead of €59.99. €73.79 is actually the base price + 23% VAT, however the VAT says €0.00 and my account has VAT exempted.

    Hi neoon, first of all thank you so much for your script. I do have a question: if in the configs file we have datacenters separate by a comm(e. g. "gra, rbx") will it check on both datacenter and get it from one of them? Or should i put one datacenter per time?

    Furthermore: is it possible to say "get it from any datacenter in europe, no matter which one"? If so, what should be the config value?

    Thanks,
    Valenerd

    You have to set anyDatacenter and switchRegion to true.

    They must have a lot of the KS-A hardware in other DC’s with higher power costs.

    Maybe they’re shipping it to the DC’s where it’s actually selling (BHS).

    I don't think anyone in their sane mind, would ship hardware for a 5$/m server around the globe, not even OVH.

    It’s not about the €5. It’s clearly for marketing.

    I can see it being worth it to be able to continue with rare restocks for awhile instead of having it rot across EU.

    The one thing that speaks for that, is that no order from yesterdays flood has been terminated, yet.
    Neither has my pending order since 15 days.

    Yes, but also them being so sure of dates (that change). Could be waiting for shipments.

    Let a man dream.

    Sure, If I ever get my KS-A delivered, I gonna marry you.
    Won't happen though, ever.

    Noted on that. We are waiting.

    Just to be clear, sorry for bothering you, but if i want to get every where in europe (only europe) my config should be like this?

    "switchRegion":false,
    "anyDatacenter":true,
    "autoPay":true,
    "ovhSubsidiary":"IE",
    "application_key":"XXXXXXXX",
    "application_secret":"XXXXXXXXXXX",
    "dedicated_datacenter":"rbx",
    "region":"europe",
    "consumer_key":"XXXXXXXX"

  • For reference, I managed to snag 4 KSAs on the 19th and 20th at night AND I'm betting they will be delivered. (Also, yes, I'm single if anyone wants to marry me—kidding!)

    Now, I’m a total noob compared to most of you here, but there’s one thing I know for sure: when you really need technology to work, it doesn't.

    Here’s my story: I joined a basic KSA checker bot on Telegram—just the kind you can find with a quick Google search. Around 8 PM on the 19th, I got a notification that KSAs were available. I managed to click and cart on up to 2 KSAs , of course, my phone died at that exact moment. Out of battery.

    I got home 5 minutes later, but by then, they were out of stock. Shortly after, I got another alert for KS/KL restocks, which made me realize KSAs would likely come back. Knowing I was competing against bots (and hats off to those of you running them—truly genius), I decided to try something different.

    I pre-loaded the KSA page on my phone and watched a movie while waiting. Sure enough, about an hour later, the Telegram bot notified me of another KSA restock. A quick page refresh, and I managed to secure my first two KSAs. (Let me tell you, being broke, this felt like a small win!) Then, an hour later, I got another two.

    I could’ve kept going and ordered more, but I stopped at 4. Could I have gone for 6? Sure. Should I have? Probably not. I know this product is in high demand, and honestly, I only really need one, even poor, I don't wanna scalp anyone, and that's maybe my luxury.

    Here’s why I’m sharing this:

    If you’re like me—tech-savvy but not a hardcore tech expert—don’t give up. You can compete. Bots, if I’m not mistaken, are usually set to refresh or act every 10 seconds or so. That’s actually longer than it takes a human to refresh a page manually. So, for now, a [smart] human still has a chance. (Though I’ll admit, this might not hold true in the future.)

    OVH seems to have deliberately released a [virtual] stock of KSAs before Black Friday. They restocked from 8 PM to around 3-4 PM GMT+8 (Manila time), so it seems like a planned operation. This gives me hope that most orders will be honored. (But hey, who knows—this post might not age well.)

    I modded the bot a bit more.
    By default it does now save your desired options as json files to plans/

    So you can run the bot non interactively for example with
    python3 nugget.py 25skle01-waw.json

    As soon "Your selected config is" displayed, the options are saved and can be loaded.
    Should make it easier.

    Hi neoon, first of all thank you so much for your script. I do have a question: if in the configs file we have datacenters separate by a comm(e. g. "gra, rbx") will it check on both datacenter and get it from one of them? Or should i put one datacenter per time?

    Just once DC at the time right now.

    Furthermore: is it possible to say "get it from any datacenter in europe, no matter which one"? If so, what should be the config value?

    You have to set anyDatacenter and switchRegion to true.

    Thanks!

    Just to be clear, sorry for bothering you, but if i want to get every where in europe (only europe) my config should be like this?

    "switchRegion":false,
    "anyDatacenter":true,
    "autoPay":true,
    "ovhSubsidiary":"IE",
    "application_key":"XXXXXXXX",
    "application_secret":"XXXXXXXXXXX",
    "dedicated_datacenter":"rbx",
    "region":"europe",
    "consumer_key":"XXXXXXXX"

    No, are you sure you are using the correct branch?

    Can you please point me out the wrong parameters so i can modify/delete them from the config file?

    Thanks,
    Valenerd

    Has anyone ordered SYS-LE-3?

    I'm trying to order SYS-LE-3, but the checkout page tells me that they are going to bill me €73.79 next month instead of €59.99. €73.79 is actually the base price + 23% VAT, however the VAT says €0.00 and my account has VAT exempted.

    I got my self one as well I'm tax exempt as I'm not from the eu.i think it's nothing to worry

    For reference, I managed to snag 4 KSAs on the 19th and 20th at night AND I'm betting they will be delivered.

(But hey, who knows—this post might not age well.)

    thank you for sharing this with us and being good to allow others to grab one.

  • Thankfully none of the new LE's interest me or seem a good deal - but maybe I'm missing something.

    I was kinda anxious that I would regret my SYS-1 purchase on monday, but none of the LE offers seem better.

  • I will wait for your guys to transfer the non-lottery-winning ones...seems hard to get hold of a KS-LE-A and KS-LE-1...

    The new KS LE (1-5) are not even half as good a deal as KS LE (A-E).

    I didnt get a single upgrade, but maybe because it's in LON. what location is yours? If it's LON, I'd appreciate consideration for transfer :)
