  • really it's very sad. time to move all data

  • Yeah, a bit over an hour for me too. I guess no point raising another ticket as Francisco's said in here he's aware and it'll just increase the stress levels.

Will likely just get you a copy/paste from whichever support staff are on.

Fran's posting updates as he gets them in the Frantech Discord https://buyvm.net/beware-the-moshbear/

  • it seem is slove

  • Yes, all my websites are down

  • I'm not using any DDoS-protected IP address on my LX vps and it's still up where I am since I am running wireguard home and nginx. Ig it's a path issue like others said

No, this isn't anything with path. This is also a LUX issue, not Vegas.

Router had a major CPU spike and had some ports go up/down/up/down (flapped).

I sent the router for a reboot and it hasn't come back. I'm assuming the high CPU is a stuck process and the juniper is sitting there waiting.

Vegas is fine. Luxembourg is offline. Someone bumped an old thread.

9/10 times you can usually blame Path, but it's not them this time.

Oh sorry, i ment i had a LUX vps. Probably unrelated but DoT works fine between me and my vps. Didn't know there was an issue with the router with high CPU spikes. mb

Per Discord, they're waiting on the datacenter staff to physically touch hardware.

Due to the language barrier they decided to touch grass instead.

  • it's sad, since May 2023 everything worked fine, yes there were speed drops in the evenings, but the connection was there

They're on their 5 o'clock mandated 'bask in the sun, drink wine on the veranda' break.

  • my website is up for now, bought a temp vps, which have pretty ping losses.

2 of the 3 racks have had no issues since the root->luxconnect move (which was 2022/2023?). the 3rd racks had its share of problems.

This ones unrelated to that though. I shared a CPU graph earlier on discord showing where the router kinda went mental.

    Francisco

  • @Francisco take a TPlink or DLink hub and hit the router back into submission.

  • Yesterday my website on LV server also was down but that was only for around 2 minutes I believe.

  • Yes its down

  • I just read in the news that Discord has been blocked in Russia, so soon you won't be able to access the internet without a VPN.

  • It has not recovered yet, but I hope it will recover soon! :s

    Oddly specific... past experiences?

    Francisco

  • It has been down for about 2 hours now, I hope you can resolve it as soon as possible.

It's the first time that a crash has happened after 2 hours since I've been with you.

This would be a great time to advertise, BuyVM Anycast. It's free for all customers, just need another node in the other BuyVM locations.

  • My server has been down for over 3 hours, and this is a disaster for my website. Does anyone know of alternatives to BuyVM?

There are plenty of options but depends on your needs. Post a thread in Requests with what you are looking for.
