A BGP session to a virtual server? Not at this time. DM me and tell me more about what you wish to accomplish.

YABS results for all our locations are similar, except for the network speed test results; since Singapore is farther away from the iperf servers included in YABS, latency will be higher.

This test was taken on a LET-G3.8 size virtual server.

Here's a YABS test I posted a few days ago for our Singapore location.

I took it late at night when iperf servers are usually less busy...

  • How and where are backups stored?

  • @serverpoint said:

What's the ETA like for IPv6?

It will certainly be before the year is over. We've had our IPv6 allocation for some time, and firmware across all our network devices is ready for IPv6. We are currently working on our platform's code to manage IPv6 allocations to clients...

Can we have at least /64 IPv6 when it's available?

Daily backups are stored on a separate storage system, within the same data center.

But when you do one time, permanent backups (there is an option for this in our Client Portal), those are also stored the same way as I described above, but we also do a backup of those, daily, to another data center.

We were actually considering something with less IPs, as a /64 is "18,446,744,073,709,551,616 (18.4 quintillion)" IPs...

We were considering providing a /124 to each VM, which provides 16 IPv6 addresses.

But your feedback would help us make a decision. How would you use a /64?

  • Invoice #816926 kindly double the monthly data transfer allowance. Thank you.

For me the /124 is enough provided it is routed IPv6 subnet (and not on-link).

I still haven't received a message from your ticket system, is this normal?
Also, there seems to be no way to see how much bandwidth is left in your User Control Panel.

The VNC entry seems to be mislabeled as well.

    oops! We will correct that.

The team that handles the notifications is a bit behind. But don't worry, internally, there is plenty of bandwidth available.

There will soon be a new update in our portal that will show more details about bandwidth usage. Since these are some new offers, we still have some coding to do related to this. Stay tuned :)
