    Although, I don't think Cloudflare caches 500MB zip files... I may be wrong on that though.

    Still affects ping, traceroute, etc - plus it also uses Cloudflares network for transferring the data, people testing usually want to see performance of your network & routing not Cloudflares.

    I absolutely agree. :) Give it a try and let me know if you see any issues with download performance.

    Note though, we are seeing those servers being pounded with automated downloads... someone may be trying to make them "seem slow"...

    We actually use it internally to store files. It works great.

    You can run this in a VPS and have a nice S3 compatible storage server...

    If not, a good old plain FTP/SFTP/SCP server in a Linux virtual server can also work... vsftpd or proftpd would work great for that.

    I was more asking for a deal with a drive (cheap, speed does not matter, i can i can use cpanel)

    Is the bandwidth count both way ?
    You said Gamer Server is fine , what is the cpu usage allowed ?
