Who Are We?

We've been offering large-scale hosting services for over 20 years. As we've concentrated on direct sales with large companies, you may not have heard of us before...

As wenow expand into the small business market, we're kicking things off with our first incredible deals on LowEndTalk!

What We Are About: Production Quality Service

Quality: we are not the cheapest, but also not expensive. We offer a quality virtualization platform at great prices. Our virtual servers are production quality, where stability and performance are a necessity.

  • Free DDoS Protection: Powered by Path.net
  • Six Data Centers: Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, Dallas, Ashburn, Amsterdam, and Singapore
  • Servers by: Supermicro and Dell PowerEdge
  • CPUs by: Intel E5v4 and Intel Xeon Gold
  • BGP Multihoming: At all of our locations
  • Network Infrastructure: Dual routers and core switches at each location
  • Experience: We have operated our own ASN (26277) for over two decades
  • Internet Providers: Zayo, Lumen, Cogent, NTT, Telstra, PCCW, and HE
  • Data Centers by: Equinix, Flexential, Ragingwire (NTT), and Digital Realty
  • Ownership: We own all of it - network, servers, routers, and manage our own support team
  • Disk infrastructure: Powered by Ceph with solid state disks, a distributed data cluster

And here are some technical details about our virtualization methods:

  • Virtualization: KVM + QEMU, for more advanced features than just plain KVM
  • Hyper-V Enlightenments Enabled: for acceleration of Windows VMs
  • Nested Virtualization: run VMs inside VMs, taking advantage of hardware acceleration

Our Data Centers

  • Santa Clara, California: Hosted at Equinix, with network provided by Zayo and Cogent
  • Las Vegas, Nevada: Our main facility, hosted by Flexential, with network provided by Lumen (Level3), Cogent, and Zayo
  • Dallas, Texas: Hosted at Equinix's Infomart facility, with network provided by Cogent and HE
  • Ashburn, Virginia: Hosted at RagingWire (now NTT), with network provided by Cogent and NTT
  • Amsterdam, Netherlands: Hosted at Interxion (now Digital Realty), with network provided by NTT and Cogent
  • Singapore: Hosted at Equinix, with network provided by Telstra and PCCW

A Professional Operation

Our infrastructure, and expertise in managing it, are based on decades of experience by our engineering team. We build our servers, host them in the best facilities, and operate our own network as well as all the software involved, including our custom-built portal and automated platform management.

No Bad Neighbor Problems

We don't let the virtual servers of other clients affect yours. Using real-time metrics and fast-response custom programming, we ensure that your "neighbors" do not overload resources to a point that affects your virtual server's performance. Disk I/O, bandwidth, and CPU are carefully monitored and controlled if any abuse is detected.

Uptime and Reliability

All our hypervisors have dual fiber network connections to individual switches, so that if any switch fails (or we have to reboot one of them), your virtual servers will not lose connectivity.

All these switches are connected to our core routers, each with their own Internet connection from different providers, so that, again, if router or network provider fails, your virtual servers will remain connected to the Internet.

And, thanks to Ceph, we can easily live migrate your virtual server to another hypervisor when we need to do server upgrades, or, a cold migration in the rare case of a hypervisor failing. And if any disk or Ceph disk node fails, your server's disk I/O will continue operating as if nothing ever happened.

This is a sample YABS report, taken from a VM at our Ashburn, Virginia data center. This virtual server's size is LET-G4.8.

Network "speed test" results vary by location, based on latency due to distance or how busy these public iperf servers may be at the time...

Network port is limited to 1.2gbps, disk I/O is limited to 1.2GB/s in order to prevent a virtual server's disk from affecting the disk I/O performance of others.

Note: "VM type" is KVM, but due to Hyper-V enlightenments , YABS detects it as Microsoft virtualization.

    It is quite a deal!

While bandwidth is more expensive in Singapore, we average the price of bandwidth across all our locations and keep the pricing at a flat rate across all zones.

This is something we are working on. While we've owned a large IPv6 allocation for over a year now, there are a lot of changes in code that we have to implement in order to support IPv6.

But we estimate it will be available across all our locations before the year is over.

Once it is, you will be able to add an IPv6 address to your existing virtual server(s).

There has been an error in some of the information you have submitted.

Keep getting this. With no information on what is wrong. @serverpoint

This is on pressing "Go to payments" during checkout. Unable to place the order

Before you go over your allocation, we will let you know. If you do think you will go over it, I would recommend to simply order another virtual server and load balance your traffic.

If you can't do that, however, talk to our sales people and we will come up with a low price for you. Right now, our prices on extra bandwidth are old and we need to adjust them for these new deals...

It will certainly be before the year is over. We've had our IPv6 allocation for some time, and firmware across all our network devices is ready for IPv6. We are currently working on our platform's code to manage IPv6 allocations to clients...
