We don't offer Windows licenses and don't support Windows installations. You might try to install Windows using the netboot.xyz boot image, if you have a suitable license.

@zGato said: Any cheap deals for Moldova or Lithuania? :p

At the moment we only have special deals in Duesseldorf only. But we may come up with some additional deals in other locations soon.

happy 25 years in business btw :)

    Thank you very much! :)

@Kousaka said: BHYVE is special here. I remember you guys used KVM in the past?

That's right, we have used KVM in the past. But since the KVM implementation of SmartOS (which we use as hypervisor OS) is a little bit outdated, we decised to go with BHYVE in the future. BHYVE offers full hardware virtualization, so there's not much difference to KVM from a enduser's perspective.

    1.
You do not have any snapshot feature included, correct?

    2.

    3.
Which control panel do you use?

ssshhhh, but the old specials are available here (top of the list): https://www.ultravps.eu/order/order.pl?cat=cloudserver_storage&lang=en

as prices are incl. german VAT the 2TB ones are still very good value and going strong ;-)

  • Recommened provider. They are transparent. Most providers like hostsl*k don't notify unplanned reboot, maintenance but Ultravps always do.( 2 or 3 for 3 years)

    Currently we don't offer snapshots.

    2.

Cores are shared, but you will likely be able to burst to full performance all the time.

    3.
Which control panel do you use?

Our control panel is developed inhouse.

Is a new registration the only way to get this? If there's a login page, it must be really well hidden! :)

I may (or may not) still have account (is BK Manager v2 still in use?) from a long time ago, back when you transitioned from ProviderService XenVZ to Ultravps KVM. So before I try to register a new account, I'd like to try a password recovery option in case my old account is still active so that there won't be multis.

I've had a server (SAS-Special-2) with @UltraVPS since April 2019 - haven't had an issue in over 5 years. It's been absolutely great.

  • I was happy with old ProviderService XenVZ as well. Never tryed their KVM service, tho.
