Our BGP connection to Path.net is enabled only when software monitoring our routers detects a DDoS attack...
This software is local to each of our data centers and have a direct connection to each of our routers (two servers run identical software, for redundancy).
Within 1 or 2 minutes of an attack, they enable our tunnels to Path.net...

What about providers who promise IPv6 but don't deliver it, shouldn't there be a extra-shame wall for that?

At this moment, in these specially priced virtual servers, we are not allowing additional IPv4 IPs. In our standard, hourly billed plans, we do, at $3/mo per IP number.

My best suggestion would be to use multiple virtual servers and load balance your traffic.
But If you need a custom size with more IPs and more bandwidth, we can create something for you, but it would require some minimum volume commitment. Please open a ticket with our sales team and we can discuss that.

It's a matter of principle. And a good one if you ask me. Personally, if a provider doesn't have (working) IPv6, I'm not buying from them. But since not everyone is doing that, no-IPv6-providers don't have the incentive to take the (small/easy/not costing that much) step. Raising awareness, like a wall of shame, could help to get more people to ignore providers without IPv6.

How much storage space do you need?
Well, we have to disagree with this... it is not a small step, it is not easy and does cost much.
Many years ago, we started preparing for IPv6. It involved replacing all our switches and routers for equipment with firmware that supports IPv6. That was a very costly process.
We are a professional data center operation; we don't use switches and routers from the local BestBuy store. It was an almost $1 million project.
As we have operated our own network for over 20 years, these are the kind of expenses involved in preparing for IPv6.
There is still legacy software left in our network that is not designed for the format of IPv6. We are phasing those out, still in preparation for IPv6.
To add to this, Covid delayed network upgrade projects across the industry, as it was difficult to buy network equipment. Most manufacturers, like Juniper, Arista, etc, couldn't manufacture their equipment. Juniper, for example, still has a backlog of orders to fulfill...
Preparing for IPv6 is certainly not easy and it isn't something small...

Ah, I see. Unfortunately, it is not possible at this moment. It is something that is planned for the future.
So far, customers that need more space, just upgrade to a larger plan, or they get one of our dedicated servers, hosted at our Las Vegas, NV data center.

You say exactly the thing that proves my point: many years ago. You say you are around 20 years. IPv6 has been an official standard for over that time. So basically, when you've acquired switches, routers, or any other equipment, you should already know about IPv6 and put that into your "must have" list. And I hope you're not using 15/20 year old switches/routers.
I've been there - was responsible for an environment with 20 racks of blade servers in a professional datacenter upto 2014. After say 2000/2005 I've not seen substantial higher prices for equivalent equipment that support IPv6. So regarding hardware, in my opinion it's a choice, not a cost.
As said, in my opinion, everyone looking at IPv6 after, say, 2018 has been sleeping in the 10 years before. Maybe I've been a frontrunner, but since 2006 every network related decision made in the above mentioned hosting company was taking into account IPv6 compatibility - because you could make that choice without additional costs. You didn't need to implement it, but if people would have been prepared since the 2nd half of the 00's, in the 2nd half of the 10's everything would have had everything in place to add it. Still it would be an effort, yes, but not regarding costs for hard- or software and it would be way easier. Saying IPv6 is difficult or costly in 2024 is in my opinion a bad excuse of being late to the party.
But everyone is entitled to their own opinion, only support it with the right reasons. But hey, you're not the only one not supporting it (yet). And again, everyone is free to make their own decision if a provider fits them or not, but as said, for me not having IPv6 is a no-go. At least you guys are honest about not supporting it yet, and hoping to have it in the near future, so maybe we'll meet in the future and I'll obtain from you. It's still better as saying that you have IPv6 but it's not working and you've got no clue about what's happening...
