I've had a lifetime plan for the last five years. It's been a great ride, and well worth it.
Good luck to you in all your future endeavors Mike.
The cost of the hosting company was much greater than I expected. I have bad time when I was a kid, and I have been saving for the coming disaster years and years like a crazy people.
Thanks @DP for creating a separate thread for offers, we've posted our offer in there for anyone looking for a new home. https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4022415/#Comment_4022415
I recently just renewed the yearly reseller account for 25 euro. You've got to find me a new home man. You just can't leave me hanging like this. This is not fair.
I was a happy customer all those years. Thanks Mike. I am looking for an European company with VAT number to move my reseller DA account.
I have only 1 hobby website on it, migrate to NameCrane in about 5 minutes with its migrate center tool.
If you want to DM me the details of your plan, I'll see what I can do to help you out.
If there's anything we can do at Layer, please PM me! Can help out the clients in SGP, COV, and SPK. Even happy to look at keeping it afloat for you! Let's discuss!
Damn, just subscribed the lifetime plan on 25/7/2024.

Even worst for me, just got an advanced reseller lifetime plan with a dedicated ipv4.....
Now all gone...
Feeling sad for myself but also for Mike...
Thank you, Mike, for your MyW service, as a lifetime user I fully understand that will happen sooner or later, but I hope it can get at least a year's refuge for free to another provider for all customers.
Thats sad, How about running a donation? It will be helpful I'm sure many will love to donate
Unfortunately, I purchased it in early 2023, which is too bad
so many Bob's
While it's always an acceptable excuse of job-lossing, it shouldn't excape our notice that you're still promoting your so-called 'lifetime' plan as nearly as HALF A YEAR ago.
And yeah, it's always a philosophy of life that NOTHING IS LIFETIME, but it's worth noticing that a cheating price of AS EXPENSIVE AS ACTUALLY 50EUR/YEAR calculated shouldn't be blamed to purchasing 'lifetime'-tagged products.
And yeah, there's it that you haven't mentioned anything of your sincerity about refunding even partially, about your plan of offering to refund after you're jobbed in the future, and even nothing about a word of 'sorry' to the 'HALF-A-YEAR EQUALS LIFETIME' customers. Only an apology for 'lack of notification'.
That's so MyW. That's very LET.
Similar here and mine was 120 euros not even last me few months...
Thanks for the notification.
I will backup the data.
Best of luck in all your future endeavors. c( っ °、。)っ
I was unlucky with when I purchased, I hope your situation improves Mike.
That's bullshit.
First of all, shit happens. You tried your best and for many years you provided excellent services for very close to free. I lost two lifetime services I've had with you for several years but the way I see it I got my moneys worth during the first few months anyway so I cant complain.
Second, you are a part of the community, not just a provider. You are a member of the community and even a moderator, closing your business will not change that. Your tagline might have to drop the "Host Rep" bit, but nothing else has changed.
And lets not forget that you are here, owning your failure and standing up for yourself. There is absolutely no shame in failing if you own it and learn from it.
I for one hope that we will continue to have you as a member of the LET community, it would be a big loss for us all if we didn't.
Hey, are you using an imapsync instance to run these backups or the DA built in? I couldn't work out how to schedule imapsync inside DA?
Sorry to hear. I have seen you looking for work on Linkedin. Good luck for the future.
No it wasn't.
How many people told this guy that lifetime offers were unsustainable, for him to say something like "it's just temporary"—and then never stop selling them, only to end up
deadpooling?
If your business has recurring expenses and your selling lifetime offers; you mathematically know that business is destined to fail and screw over your customers.
There is a reason many payment processors will kick you off for advertising "lifetime offers." You've misled your customers and sold them lifetime offers instead of 5-year offers.
Guy's a grown adult and a moderator here who's job is to prevent exit scams like these. There's no excuse for this. The writing has been on the walls for so long and this was so avoidable.
Sent. Thanks.
I have loved the service so far, but I agree with @SirFoxy
It was a sanctuary for me and came at the right time when I got the lifetime reseller.
But its time to move on.
Best of luck Mike, all the same.
@xsteamsniperx @hapkido @tzchz
Feel free to DM me with the details of your plan/etc - when you signed up, shared/reseller, size of plan, location.
We're definitely not a charity, but I'm able to help some people out in (limited) capacity with some free months/etc.
Anyone on the 2GB plan Shared plan, feel free to contact me. Happy to put you on my 20i packages at no cost just to help out.
a white scam.
Ah trust me, it was a very hard decision for me. I spent all my savings last month to renew everything, but, can't do it any longer.
And my 3 lifetimes went to dust - $150 down the drain, I'll survive but I can't say I'm not disappointed - didn't even get around to using it for a single site ever released to the public - not that I would use it for production but just didn't feel like I got anything near the investment.
P.S I really trusted the moderator tag. I'm not saying Mike isn't a good person, I'm just saying I didn't expect this.
Thank you for the kind words, but after this, I'll need to leave LET for a while, until everything is settled, I'll be here showing my face.
So sorry again for every trouble I caused here, LET and our clients.

I'm now running full backups to a VPS provided by @host_c to make sure there's no data loss, some of our servers expire early than others, and the IP subnets are expiring sooner, one will actually expire in like 30 hours, I've tried to get an extension for it, yesterday, but was allowed 48 hours, which makes sense, @IPXO also need to pay for their bills.
