Netcup CPU Steal and The Low Quality of Support

Netcup Fanatic and Defender
Please welcome ..

When idle my VPS 1000 ARM G11 NUE having 5-10% CPU Steal Time
When Browser up, loaded with Google Maps and Youtube, the raising start, majority 15-20% reached

Support raised and the solution was to migrate to other node.
And another f##n drama showing up
Since August 16, 2024 confirmation of migrating
ended up in respond and finishing Augus 19, 2024
meanwhile on those in between days, SILENCE

Is that all GERMAN VPS like this when behave supporting customers ?
No matter how much you will defend Netcup
Is it what we called Profesional ?

Thank You and hope for you Netcup
to get better, upgrade the Support Team Quality

Dear Rio Martin,

Thank you for your patience.

I can offer you to migrate the server to another host system. The server will restart once at the end of the process. Is this ok for you? Please confirm it and I will proceed.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
netcup Team

That's a weekend, isn't it? Germans have very strict weekends and you shouldn't expect anything to happen on those days.

    The days is Weekend.
You need weekends support just move on!

    https://helpcenter.netcup.com/en/support

    Our response promise

If we receive your ticket before 5pm CET on german weekdays (Mon-Fri), we promise to respond to your request the same day.

Requests from outside Europe are processed within 24 hours due to the time difference.

So if the VPS Host Machine got blew up and burned to Ashes
its all depend on Pray and Hope ?

5 days a week only for the support operational ?

Yes, did they lie to you otherwise? Did they mention anywhere 24/7/365 support? Otherwise that's most Germans for you. Most of the world actually.
Plus this wasn't a disaster situation.

I don't care they mentioned or not
Just explain explain explain WISELY !

As human you will understand if they had weekend day off
    and as customer

    thinking twice for this POLICY

  • Because it's VPS, not VDS. My VDS has 0.07% average steal in last 30 days. And yours isnt urgent situation. I had failed snapshot process before. Contacted support via email that my server is down after snapshot and they replied between 5 mins-1.5 hours in saturday.

Chinese mjj complain about quality… boring.

Sounds like a you problem. They mention on their site that they reply Monday to Friday, and some phone number for EMERGENCY support (your situation was not an emergency)

    thinking twice for this POLICY

Yeah, I'd recommend you read their site at least once next time.

  • you need dedicated performance go for dedicated or VDS.

    or wait for migration.

  • find the hosting with 5 minutes support then and pay 1,000$ for that lol

When submitted the order, you agreed that you have read terms and conditions. Now, since you are aware of this policy, you have the option to move to another provider wisely

I am sure, as a human you will understand this.

$3 and still better than this, while Netcup is fckuin LOL to me for their $7
    That would make you INSANE

  • My $0.92/month VPS with NetCup has been running fine for over a year now.
Which other provider will give you 2 TB daily bandwidth for this price?

Dedicated with service like that, wasting money and wasting insanity I think .. I just think the reviewer never understood the difference ..

From the manual registration process etc etc

Compared like big names, OVHCLOUD, if not Netcup offered in 2.5Gbps, higher .. then I will laugh to this Netcup .... complete downfall in Hardware and Support

    If that is OVHCLOUD,

Yes , voted for them ABSOLUTELY

    NetCup

I mentioned last time as well in the thread, where you were having difficulty on how to reinstall OS using the NetCup control panel.

My suggestion would be that you should consider premium managed VPS. This may cost more, but you won't face so many challanges

If the cheaper one provide any support like this than why consider Premium One ?
in the real face to face , if I got Premium Support like this, I will smashed them in the head in REAL.

This is just the Support Quality
How about the CPU Steal that making me laugh
all the time 5-10% during Iddle and boosted up to 20% during Load

In here, my Insanity level traded up
whether to continue loading up also or choose another way

If that package / service really available now,
I think I will not have to complaint

    0.96 vs 6.13 in Euros
of course for me like buying snacks vs foods
    I cant complaint for snacks

    Look buddy
I had been with ServerHost $3 for years
Contabo $15 for almost a years
    OVHCloud $1 for years

Are you still want to compare and still defending Netcup is good
    Take it for yourself buddy

    Its not helping for Insanity
If you consider Netcup is good
Take it for you Buddy ...

Maybe this time a really Critical Warning for me
To choose to stay or not

What is your screenshot showing here? Why is it not optimized for browsing, beside VNC being worse than RDP?

it is not VNC. Pls do not assume things.

I can run Windows RDP Youtube video at 1080p on a vps with 1 vCore / 2 gb ram

This is not possible on Linux desktop.

Because Windows Server OS is much more resource optimized for this use case

WIndows Server 2016 is the most optimized with RAM
I tried under 2GB and running smooth event with 1vcore under ServerHost $3
but limited with SWAP that I might not know yet how to activate it under Windows Server

but with idle like that and consumed 50% of RAM
still not enough room for me

    Mine under Debian 12.6 xfce4
    running ARM with Wine BOX64

    Agree with that ..
I tested LayerAE Singapore with just 1vCore 2GB Ram

    with GB6 Score 2700++
you could swapon and enjoy the multimedia entertainment inside with Debian 12.6 xfce4

But the last time I got limited :)) LOL :))
    Youtube with choppy sound

Windows RDP works smoothly with YT video and audio on 1 vCore Ryzen / 2 GB memory

Linux desktop is not optimized for this use case. You will need at least 8 gb memory for such experience on Linux desktop.
