Move to PA went smoothly for me - thanks @crunchbits
Minor problem, 'Create backup now' gives 'The following error occurred' in red but no error (or backup).
@FAT32 The best provider. I also ask for a free VPS
Backups in PA not enabled quite yet. Should be later today, since we're doing a slightly different system to avoid congestion out there.
you're late to the party. Even when it was on, wining was random. You should try reading next time
Has anyone received their free chicken yet? 🫡
I think they're starting to hatch but incubating that many eggs takes a while.
Also, does anyone know if these will be available again? I've moved mine to PA but also want to buy another in WA again...
They should be available in a smaller batch after migrations are done. You can try bribing @crunchbits if you don't want to wait
Perfect, suddenly realise I need to build a HA cluster.
Unfortunately cannot bribe @crunchbits with ammo, maybe something else?

I too can't wait to buy more islands I don't need.
@crunchbits, did all the PA relocation done?
One of mine is not done yet, that's why I'm asking.
PA migration was smooth. looking good.
The bulk are done, yep. If you had multiple requests--did you do multiple tickets (1 per specific service)? If so--ping to reply and bump the one that was missed. It was a little chaotic when we opened the gates.
@crunchbits, I just bumped Ticket #PYS-662578
thanks
@crunchbits plan to add yealy vps anytime soon?
@crunchbits when wil i could get 1 [WA] 4.5GB Yearly SSD VPS ?
Yes
Soon (TM)
OK
@crunchbits when wil i could get 1 chick ?? !
This might be a stupid question, but why move to PA, is it better performance because newer hardware or better network speeds or something?
If you are connecting from US east coast or Europe locations, you can have the benefit of a lower network latency (generally).
If we're being honest, it's closer in proximity and should have a lower network latency to a higher percentage of the US population as well, I think it's like 60% of the US population is east of the Mississippi, that's two thirds of the population in one third of the country geographically.
Pretty much what the other two said. Facilities and hardware are basically the same. We have more flexibility in WA for other stuff (proximity of office/storage to DC) but if you’re looking for stronger network performance west of Kansas City or to APAC? Definitely go WA.
Rest of US (which includes majority of population on east coast) and EU likely choose PA.
Or both, because we’re a small family-owned business and have some bills coming up.
This is the answer! Choose both as it's good to have geographic diversity and crunchbits freakin rocks.
Nice practical family car for the family business.
@crunchbits The Backup feature is still not enabled in PA, any ETA? Thanks~
@crunchbits When Capacity Increase at PA Sir?
Hi, Seems like maybe I appeared in a Win aFree Server post? scooke? That's me! Am I too late?
So yeah, I figured I'd go looking for the win announcement post, found it, checked my DMs, haven't gotten any message... sure would love to claim this. Thanks!
