We have some solid deals with 200tb+ on 10gbps.

All of our Dedicated Servers including some Budget Dedicated include 10Gbps true unmetered starting from $59.99/mo.

let me know if you have any questions.

Wow, 10G unmetered in Tokyo for $140, that's insane considering it's APAC. That's 3300TB of JP bandwidth

Tokyo or not, that's the craziest deal I've found 🤨

You shouldn't be skipping the "Tokyo" part, that holds a lot more weight compared to other 10G offers.

I agree, but they have their limitations from what I have noticed so far (for example, it looks like you can't open more than a 100 public port on your server)
And despite it, I like the server so far.

I will experiment more around it

Doesn't satisfy my traffic needs unfortunately, it works at 20TB outbound monthly.

    Notes here:

    • I have a budget server with a 1TB SATA HDD, so the disk speeds kind of make sense.
    • The server doesn't come with an IPv6 address. The IPv6 information mentioned above are related to a HE.NET Tunnelbroker IPv6 address that I installed.
    • Not sure why iperf3 is showing such low speeds, but the Ookla Speedtest result is here:

  • With just a 1 single HDD, it will be hard to push even 100 MB/s.

Disk isn't a big issue for my use case. It sure affects the overall performance of the server, but my app mostly relies on the RAM.
Loading the data into the memory in small buffers then writing them back to the HTTP response body.

I am a bit curious to see if the CPU can handle many concurrent HTTPS connections at 10G considering the encryption overhead.

Indeed, but 16G...It will be filled by cache really fast, and sometimes it will just not be able to hold all the load tho...

Nah, with that specs he cannot even reach constant 5Gbps. Thats the silent catch. CPU will be full in no time thats a reverse proxy

  • Facing issues with Tempest.net here.
The network routing isn't the most efficient for me and my clients. A lot of issues with their firewall that I cannot disable as well. an unmetered 10Gbps server for $60/mo but it indeed has its catches.

I wish I had asked for a refund throughout the first 48 hours

@oddmario I was quoted the following a week ago from a reseller named Andy10gbit (https://andy10gbit.xyz)

    32GB RAM 1TB NVMe 10Gbit 100TB Egress Traffic $90
    16GB RAM 1TB NVMe 10Gbit 500TB Egress Traffic $240
    16GB RAM 500GB NVMe 2Gbit Unmetered $190 (10Gbit Ingress speed)
    16GB RAM 500GB NVMe 3Gbit Unmetered $230 (10Gbit Ingress speed)
    16GB RAM 500GB NVMe 5Gbit Unmetered $270 (10Gbit Ingress speed)
    16GB RAM 500GB NVMe 10Gbit Unmetered $350

These were options I was offered in Europe but I opted for Canada, so maybe they still have stock if the above fits your budget. I moved over from Psychz because the bandwidth quality was awful.

100% sure those are OVH or Leaseweb Premium servers. Andy10gbit is just a reseller so the quality is as good if not better as buying directly from OVHCloud or Leaseweb.

I guess having a "VAT number" translates to:

    • you wont get scammed by a host/reseller
    • you wont get a sub-par product from a host/reseller
    • the host/reseller won't deadpool or disappear

LMAO. Anyway I wont humor your low IQ drivel so don't both @'ing me.

After some deciphering he basically says: "Chat with andy if you don't care about dealing with someone who might already have tax authorities on his ass waiting for the most favorable moment to step in and raid everything."

Is there really much that needs to be added here? I figure a certain bubble won't care one way or another and andy not operating in a legit manner is obviously still just a suspicion at this point but @sunnyg pretty much makes it sound as if those suspicions were true and i think it's very much a valid question if such open condoning is appropriate for LET.

Andy is a nice person, I talked to him before, and has some good deals too. However like @WhiteRoseG said, I'd rather be hosted with a company that has a clear presence of being a hosting company. But thank you, I appreciate your recommendation. also let's keep the discussion calm please :)
